powder mixtures in this study showed that addition of CNTs alters the grinding behaviour of Ti

The ghost of Lucinda Matlock presents one of the overall themes. The woman tells the story of her
hard but full life. Then she expresses her anger toward the living generations petty woes. She states
that Life is too strong for you it takes life to love life. Lucinda s character is based on Edgar Lee
Master s grandmother of the same name, who is buried in the cemetery that inspired the author.
Another thematic poem is that of Yee Bow. Yee Bow was an Asian man who worshipped Confucius.
The people of Spoon River tried to convert him, but he was faithful. One day, without warning, the
clergyman s son hit and killed Yee Bow. Yee was grief stricken, knowing that his progeny could not
worship him while he lie in Spoon River.
Cooney Potter is my favorite character. He tells how he acquired a small piece of land from his father,
and through hard work, he became quite prominent, but never satisfied. Wishing to own two thousand
acres, I bustled through the years with axe and plow, Toiling, denying myself, my wife, my sons, my
daughters... He says that his hard work killed him before he reached the age of sixty. He had achieved

Pollution in the Great Lakes is a big problem and it is very serious. Water pollution affects health of

In the last years, invasive species have i remeber sypupchanged the Great Lakes ecosystem. These
changes have affected the economy, health, and recreation. Once invasive species entered the Great
Lakes its hard to stop them. Some examples of invasive are sea lamphrey, zebra mussles, round goby,
and alewife just to name a few. Zebra Mussles are a problem because they clog pipes, stick on
everthing and anything, eat native species food, and clean waters alowing sunlight to come in the
water thats gives power to nasty plants to grow. Asian carp are of concern because they have been

LING292 Assignment 3: Part 3 Rationale
The intended audience for my publication are fans of Agatha Christie, old and new as stated in the
subtitle of the publication. There are some posts that are aimed more towards newer fans, such as
Poirot Reading Order for fans who want to know where to start reading her Poirot stories, or to make
sure they don t read a book that spoils another book they have not yet read.
I chose an article on Agatha Christie herself, The Secrets of Agatha Christie by John Curran, as I
imagine readers would be interested in her and why she was successful. The movie review on Murder
on the Orient Express by Leigh Paatsch was a relevant choice as the film has released in theatres
recently so I looked for a mostly positive review for the publication. And I chose the novel recipe by
Kate Young as a fun and interesting post, perhaps for the bigger Christie fans who knew every detail
of her books, or just for fans who wanted to try a bit of cooking.
I edited the directions of the recipe so that it was easier to understand and follow since I imagined the
audience were probably not dedicated chefs. I divided them into much smaller steps and categorised
the steps for legibility and ease of reading on the screen. For example, Making the Ice Cream became
its own heading. Because this is a publication on the internet, I also envisaged a more international
audience and I edited the material to suit this purpose. Cling film is used in the UK, so I
