The earlier development of the law enforcement was developed by a man named Sir Robert Peel
also known as the Father of Modern Policing (Bennett Hess, 2007). He was born February 5, 1788
in Chamber Hall near Bury in Lancashire (Bloy, n.d.). He was the one who greatly influenced and
set forth the fundamental principles of the police force. He developed an organized force called the
London Metropolitan Police in 1829 that protected the people who were victimized due to high

Given the changes in atmosphere and various weather and atmospheric events on various stages,
we will be looking at including various map wide effects that slow or stop towers due to events
on the stages. The major events we are currently thinking about are blizzards, lightning storms,
and volcanic activity. Blizzards, on stage 1, can cause a slowing or complete stop of towers and
enemies found on the stage as mobility can be locked down or limited to prevent damage to
central machinery. Lightning storms, on stage 2 and 4, can cause short term damage to what is
hit, and possibly power fluctuations in mechanical foes and towers causing a stall in the unit
/tower s work. Volcanic activity, on stage 4, can be distant and result in the falling of hot flakes of

I have been a performer my entire life, and want to continue to impact those around me through
theater. In my life, I have not yet encountered such a raw reflection of human life and emotions.
My love of theater began at a young age, and since then I have seen how the twists and turns of
plays and musicals can deeply impact an audience. My freshman year I actually performed at
my school s brother school and played Celisse in Godspell. My sophomore year I played Mrs.
Harcourt in Anything Goes, my junior year I was the Wardrobe in Beauty and the Beast, and this
year I was the Bird Woman in Mary Poppins. My favorite performances, however, is Spring Sing,
a student run production where classes compete for bragging rights. I have been an actor in Spring
Sing since my freshman year and my class hopes to win this year!
Being able to express myself through song, acting, and dance is a form of meditation for me. It is
a time where I am able to completely forget about my own anxieties and focus on the worries of
the character. Roles are static until you make them come alive, and that is where there is room for

American society has developed as a result of continued waves of immigration. It therefore seems
logical that Americans should have positive attitudes towards immigration. Immigration allows for
sharing of ideas and cultures within society. However, in recent years, the trend of undocumented
immigration has taken an effect on the economic and social development of American society.

language in immigration rhetoric on the perception held by people about immigration. Different

Introduction
To enable all students to learn and engage with the learning areas in the classroom, teachers
employ a variety of teaching methodologies across all learning areas. Choosing an appropriate
teaching methodology will make the process of teaching English as a second language easier and
more rewarding for the teachers and students, and increase the likelihood of success. In this
research, I will analyses a video clip of an ESL/EFL teacher and class in action for reflection on
and evaluating the mythology to promote language learning.
The video clip chosen for analysis is from lessons included in Harmer (2007) published by
YouTube. It covers adult class (pre intermediate) during the lesson titled Kit teaches students to ask
for and give directions. The class are learning English as a second language (ESL) and there are
around 15 students from variety countries.
Lesson Summary
The clip can be viewed as a sequence of episodes where each episode is a bonded unit which
roughly correlates with a single teaching activity (Gibbons, 2006:95). The class follows the task
based teaching structure found to be common in English as a second language and moves from
listening tasks to a speaking task.
