Editor's Notes

  1. This is also part of our overall national OGX focuses
  2. These are just example questions Eps might ask.
  3. Pros: get to go into details about information- this chart being very important, but also simulate the experience since many EPs have never been abroad. Idea that YOU CANNOT FULLY UNDERSTAND UNLESS YOU’VE EXPERIENCED so that when someone happens, they’ll be like “challenge accepted.”Cons: logistical nightmare and time consuming, plus EPs need to expect that it takes longer.
  4. Pros: still get a balance between information and simulation, and give EPs a holistic view of AIESEC, internships, the world, etc. Cons: might begin to get a bit lecture-style b/c less time, also could be a logistical nightmare.
  5. EP mixer could be combined with dinner to give more time to activities
  6. Pros: EPs won’t start drifting off and chasing after butterflies (haha) and can still get a holistic understanding of AIESEC. Cons: because you would be in a rush to get all of your information across, you will begin to give more broad info (less time for specifics) and begin to lecture to get info out in the time given.
  7. This is what the VPOGXs at the summit wanted – general activities of each sessions
  8. This is what the VPOGXs at the summit wanted – general FACI tips. It’s impossible to give more details in 1 hour, so make sure they know to lookout for education
  9. For LCs that want to do something else- has to have these:Cultural Sensitivity, stereotypes and how to break down cultural barriers. Logistics: immunization, paperwork, money, packing, etc.Expectations setting AIESEC culture - reviewed some AIESEC policies and specificsContingency plans and Emergency contactsCulture Shock: definition, different phases, how to deal with itThe experiences of past EPs through using a panel or mixerImpact of AIESEC internships could have on the worldInvite both matched and unmatched EPs
  10. Mostly for VPs to think about- to begin planning (This is based on the assumption that OPS will happen in first 3 weeks of April.
  11. Maybe just for VPs?
  12. Maybe just for VPs?
