Description
   
 Students from partner schools create a photo
album presenting their city. Students take and
upload photos of places, people, interesting
moments, etc., in order to give a profile of their
city and life there. Students from the other
school(s) vote on the most interesting photos that
their partners have taken
 
Pedagogical basis:
to develop writing and reading skills in a foreign language; 
to develop collaborative writing and proof-reading skills;
to develop critical thinking skills when looking for, selecting and
organizing relevant information on the chosen topic;
to learn basic web writing and graphical design rules;
• to take digital pictures and use them in articles;
• to use ICT collaborative tools for publishing, editing,
commenting;
• to communicate efficiently with both classmates and partners
abroad;
• to develop their inter-cultural skills.
    Working methods:
1. The students will use the voki to introduce themselves
2. the students will be in three teams.
the 1st team will photo their city,
the 2d will make the google presentation with comments for
everyone of the photos.  create the picasa’ s photo album
the 3d will find websites which will be about their cities
– the teacher and one or two students will organize the twinspace
wikis, so it will be ready to upload their materials

  • 3. Age of the pupils:16-17 Used language: English Duration: 4  weeks School type: High school
  • 4. Description      Students from partner schools create a photo album presenting their city. Students take and upload photos of places, people, interesting moments, etc., in order to give a profile of their city and life there. Students from the other school(s) vote on the most interesting photos that their partners have taken
  • 5.   Pedagogical basis: to develop writing and reading skills in a foreign language;  to develop collaborative writing and proof-reading skills; to develop critical thinking skills when looking for, selecting and organizing relevant information on the chosen topic; to learn basic web writing and graphical design rules;
  • 6. • to take digital pictures and use them in articles; • to use ICT collaborative tools for publishing, editing, commenting; • to communicate efficiently with both classmates and partners abroad; • to develop their inter-cultural skills.
  • 7.     Working methods: 1. The students will use the voki to introduce themselves 2. the students will be in three teams. the 1st team will photo their city, the 2d will make the google presentation with comments for everyone of the photos.  create the picasa’ s photo album the 3d will find websites which will be about their cities – the teacher and one or two students will organize the twinspace wikis, so it will be ready to upload their materials
