This document provides instructions for creating a 3D paper sculpture. It lists various paper supplies that can be used and instructs students to draw curvy lines on paper, color in the shapes, cut them out, and then glue or tape the pieces onto another piece of paper to form a sculpture by twisting and bending the cutouts. Examples of finished sculptures are shown from the top and side views.

3. Draw 5 – 7 curvy lines on a piece of paper…

using a pencil,
marker, crayon
or sharpie.

4. Use color and pattern inside the shapes
Now use
crayons,
markers or
whatever to
create pattern
inside each
shape. Pattern
is repetition.
Repeating lines,
shapes, colors
and such.

5. Start cutting the shapes apart…

7. Glue or Tape Pieces to another piece…

piece of paper into
a sculpture. You
can twist and bend
