This document provides 38 techniques for getting unstuck or finding new ideas when creating art. Some of the techniques include using tissue paper in various ways as a background or colorant, xerox transfers with markers, working with graph paper, newsprint, or maps. Other suggestions are weaving with various materials, working with envelopes, sewing, stencils, paper towels, marker bleeds, cutouts, borders, tearing pages, printing body parts, illustrating value scales, color schemes, and using gesso or brayers to create textures. The list aims to spark creativity with diverse materials and processes.
