This document summarizes an experiment to optimize the FRP moulding process by varying catalysts and accelerators. The experiment uses polyester resin with two catalysts (dimethyl terephthalate and methyl ethyl ketone peroxide) and four accelerators (potassium, sodium, copper, vanadium). This creates two sets of specimens (A and B) that are observed and measured for curing time, gel time, and peak exothermic temperature. The goal is to find combinations of catalysts and accelerators that improve resin bonding and reduce defects in the FRP moulding process.
