2. What’s a Operating System?
An operating system is a (software) program that starts when you
turn on the computer and is responsible for managing all the
resources of the computer system, both hardware (physical parts,
hard drive, screen, keyboard, etc.) and software (programs and
instructions) allowing communication between the user and the
computer.

Operating System?
 Its main function is the give us the necessary tools to be able to control
our computer and be able to make use of it.
 The basic functions of the operating system are to manage the
resources of the machine, coordinate the hardware and organize files
and folders on storage devices.
 An operating system performs five basic functions in the operation of a
computer system:

widely used operating system was MS-DOS
(Microsoft Disk Operating System), and the interface
