Why do you think they represented my trailer well?
• 'I think they fitted well with the genre of the
trailer, the girl that was going missing
obviously fit the title and the dolls on the
magazine cover gave hints about the
storyline'
• 'They represented the trailer well because
they all said the title and had creepy
children on the front'
What was your favourite part of the poster and why?
• 'I loved the main image, it looked as
though the girl was actually fading away
and it was really creepy'
• 'I liked the colours, the black really made it
seem like it was for a thriller film'
What was your favourite part of the magazine cover and why?
• 'I liked the pencil drawing effect because it
made her face seem scary'
• 'My favourite part was the dolls in the
background, it made me wonder about
what they had to do with the story and the
girl on the front'
What was your least favourite part of the poster and why?
• 'I think my least favourite part was the
credits, they could have been bigger'
• 'My least favourite part was the the title, i
think it could have been a colour like dark
red or purple'
What was your least favourite part about the magazine cover and why?
• 'The pencil lines were a bit too light, they
could have been a bit darker'
• 'My least favourite part was the title, I think
a bigger title would have pulled me in
more but the image did make up for it, I
loved the image'
What did you think of the images used on both ancillary tasks?
• 'The images were both really creepy and I
like the fact they linked in to what happens
in the trailer'
• 'The dolls really made the magazine cover
great, they were surrounding her so it
made them stand out and look important'
What did you think of the editing?
• 'The way the images on the magazine
cover looked like pencil drawings were
really good but they could have been
darker/more prominant'
• 'The way the girl on the poster was in the
middle of disappearing was really clever'
Would the ancillary tasks make you more likely to watch the films?
• 'Yeah they would because they made me
want to see what was happening to the
children'
• 'I liked them but they werent enough to
make me want to watch a thriller because
i'm not a fan of thrillers in the first place'
Is there anything you would change and why?
• 'Yeah, I think the pencil lines should be
darker and the title bigger on the
magazine cover'
• 'I would have added the other missing
children to the poster'

  • 3. What was your favourite part of the poster and why? • 'I loved the main image, it looked as though the girl was actually fading away and it was really creepy' • 'I liked the colours, the black really made it seem like it was for a thriller film'
  • 4. What was your favourite part of the magazine cover and why? • 'I liked the pencil drawing effect because it made her face seem scary' • 'My favourite part was the dolls in the background, it made me wonder about what they had to do with the story and the girl on the front'
  • 5. What was your least favourite part of the poster and why? • 'I think my least favourite part was the credits, they could have been bigger' • 'My least favourite part was the the title, i think it could have been a colour like dark red or purple'
  • 6. What was your least favourite part about the magazine cover and why? • 'The pencil lines were a bit too light, they could have been a bit darker' • 'My least favourite part was the title, I think a bigger title would have pulled me in more but the image did make up for it, I loved the image'
  • 7. What did you think of the images used on both ancillary tasks? • 'The images were both really creepy and I like the fact they linked in to what happens in the trailer' • 'The dolls really made the magazine cover great, they were surrounding her so it made them stand out and look important'
  • 8. What did you think of the editing? • 'The way the images on the magazine cover looked like pencil drawings were really good but they could have been darker/more prominant' • 'The way the girl on the poster was in the middle of disappearing was really clever'
  • 9. Would the ancillary tasks make you more likely to watch the films? • 'Yeah they would because they made me want to see what was happening to the children' • 'I liked them but they werent enough to make me want to watch a thriller because i'm not a fan of thrillers in the first place'
  • 10. Is there anything you would change and why? • 'Yeah, I think the pencil lines should be darker and the title bigger on the magazine cover' • 'I would have added the other missing children to the poster'
