For many recruiters, successfully tracking the performance of their recruitment campaigns is a commercial imperative. But when it comes down to the practicalities of monitoring, analysing and reporting it can be a minefield.
The digital age has brought about a revolution in the amount and level of detail in the data that’s available to advertisers and website owners as every step of a candidate’s journey is visible and recorded. This is great news for analysts, but it can often prove bewildering to recruiters.
This is the way I like to present my web traffic reports.
Please if you have any doubt of comment share it with me, it will help to improve my work.

Many clients that come to us are lost when it comes to conversion optimization. They have difficulties to come up with a robust conversion plan. It ends up with a bunch of random ideas, and no idea what worked and what didn’t. We always tell our clients, go through a process and you will see results. And just because one element didn’t produce well, don’t abandon it and not take away any insights.
In this session, we will take attendees through the process of creating a robust, conversion producing roadmap and plan. Attendees will come out with a step-by-step process of how to put together a successful plan for controlled conversion results and how to learn from the results and tests they previously deployed.
Attendees will learn:
- How to conduct a repeatable sustainable testing process
- How to see recognize conversion optimization is beyond the website
- How to conduct a proper problem analysis of the page using the conversion framework
- Develop solutions that meet the requirement for their test plan
Google Analytics - Metrics That Actually MatterMoby Siddique
Delivered by redpandas.com.au, this presentation was presented to over 40 marketers, business owners & start-ups on the 24th May 2016 at the Aeona Business Centre.
According to data supported by BuiltWith, less than 10% of all websites have Google Analytics, fewer still actually know how to interpret the powerful yet overwhelming data available to them.
In this presentation, I went over an approach that asked key questions first then demonstrated how to find the answers in analytics - as opposed to what most people do: jump into the data in the hopes of finding something that sticks out.
We looked at:
• Setting up Google Analytics to report on your actual commercial goals and objectives.
• An assortment of ‘secret’ tools used by digital agencies you can use yourself
• A key difference of this masterclass is using Google analytics to answer questions (as opposed to using data retrospectively to make sense of it).
Answering questions such as:
• What are the characteristics of people who visit my site?
• How does my site compare to other sites in my specific industry?
• Is there data in analytics that will help me with content for social media?
• Where is my traffic coming from?
• What sources are engaged and what sources are converting?
• What pages do I need to work on according to the data?

It can be daunting to navigate the critical process of a redesign: rising costs, missed deadlines, and plummeting conversion rates instead of anticipated lifts. Learn from the experts on how to use customer interviews, closed-loop sales feedback, web analytics, and A/B testing to determine the optimal mix of content, navigation, and calls-to-action for your site. Get tips on how to drive results in spite of tight timelines, limited resources, CMS restrictions, and small datasets.
Our Website Redesign Playbook is a planning methodology that highlights our premium tool-kit of tools & templates to help you conduct an effective website redesign.

Digital marketing analytics paths of value - 12-4-17Marshall Sponder
Digital Marketing Analytics Paths of Value is an adaption of many of the highlights of my book along with the Connecting the Dots methodology used in the book, and that sets it apart.
This is a presentation for The Global Big Data Conference where I am focusing on how creative people can leverage algorithms and Big Data without having it take over their entire lives.
My presentation is on the afternoon of October 23rd, 2017 and I am publishing the deck a few days earlier than that. This presentation also coincides with the publication of the Digital Analytics for Marketing (Sponder/Khan) textbook that is now available (Routledge, 2018) online and in bookstores.

I created this lecture for my Baruch and Rutgers classes but figured it really ought to be online. While preparing this deck, noticed the cathectic emotion, even though it is impossible to capture everything that has happened.
Here is my presentation to the Design Bloggers Conference that is taking place in Atlanta, GA on Feb 25th - 27th, 2015.
I was originally going to present this in person but it will be delivered remotely as a last minute circumstance arose that made it necessary for me to postpone attending.

Analytics for Musicians - Presentation to Chamber Music America - December 2n...Marshall Sponder
This presentation covers the kind of data that can be collected and how it might be used to promote the local and online following of Classical and Jazz Musicians.
In particular, we take a tour of some of the more exotic enhancements in Google Analytics combined with Geo-Location that I have become found of lately.
The work in this course also draws on the work I do at Baruch College Zicklin School of Business, where I am a Lecturer Faculty - much of the work I present has been informed by students who helped to pull the data around certain of the slides.
Finally, the need to develop the assessments also draws upon the Rutgers University Social Media for the Arts.
This deck does a nice job of blending the thinking behind the teachings I've done in both places, and is a true synthesis.
Merging Geo Social Data & web analytics at the Metropolitan Museum of ARTMarshall Sponder
Using public data and platforms such as Geofeedia (to mine the public Instagram and Twitter postings at the Metropolitan Museum of Art), together with StatSocial (a tool for Twitter Follower Analysis) I was able to come up with a very unique approach to Analytics and Storytelling for the MET.
As I'm a sustaining member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I really love the museum, its my favorite place, and also a place of RESEARCH.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
