• PROPS CAN ALSO BE USED TO REPRESENT THE ARTIST IN THE
WAY THE DIRECTOR WANTS TO.
• UNLIKE IN MOST HIP HOP MUSIC VIDEOS, MY CHARACTERS WILL
NOT BE SEEN USING PROPS IN THE FORM OF LUXURIOUS
EXPENSIVE PRODUCTS DUE TO THE NARRATIVE.

• THE COSTUME OF THE MAIN ARTIST IS VERY IMPORTANT IN
REPRESENTING THE GENRE.
• THE MAIN ARTIST IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTER IN THE MUSIC
VIDEO.
• AT THE BEGINNING OF MY VIDEO, MY MAIN ARTIST WILL BE SEEN
WEARING A LIGHT HOODIE, JEANS, A BASEBALL CAP AND BLACK
TRAINERS.
• THIS REPRESENTS THE GENRE WELL WITH THE STREET STYLE ATTIRE
BEING POPULAR AMONGST THE TARGET AUDIENCE.

WHICH ALL OCCUR AT A FUNERAL.

WEARING A SMART SHIRT AND TROUSERS.
• HOWEVER WHEN MEETING UP WITH THE MAIN ARTIST, THE FRIEND
WILL BE SEEN WEARING A PAIR OF JEANS, A BASEBALL CAP AND
A LIGHT COLOURED HOODIE JUST LIKE THE MAIN ARTIST.

The Television will be used from shots 9 to 11 to show the gang crime.

I will be using a very similar looking envelope in shots 12-15, where the man realises
he has a letter from The White House. I will create this envelope using desktop
publishing software.

16. PROP 3 - LETTER
This will be used in shots 17-19. I
aim to create a letter using Desktop
Publishing Software.

17. PROP 4 - BASKETBALL
This will be used in shot 68, where two old friends are seen playing basketball.

18. PROP 6- X2 IPHONE
These will be used in shots 21-25 where the two main characters in the narrative
are texting each other.

19. PROP 7 - PLAYSTATION
This will be used in shot 64 to show two old friends playing video games
together.

20. PROP 7- MICROPHONE
The microphone will be used in all the shots that take place in the
chapel.

21. PROP 8 – WINE BOTTLE
This will be used in shot 12 only, where the man intends to open the bottle
before noticing the envelope addressed to him.
