The Counseling Office provides developmental, remedial and preventive counseling services for all students, as well as guidance, education and support for students with special needs. Dr. Micki Erickson and April Brown serve as counselors and can be contacted by calling, emailing or visiting their offices in Naples or Fort Myers. Free and confidential counseling services are offered for individual counseling, workshops, groups, consultations and referrals. Disability services are provided on a case-by-case basis to reasonably accommodate students with disabilities. 5. DISABILITY SERVICES
Services are provided on a case-by-case basis and are dependent upon the impact of
the student‟s disability. While personal services and personal aides cannot be
provided, reasonable accommodations will be arranged to assist a student with a
disability based on a plan to be developed by the student and the ADA Coordinator
(Dr. Micki Erickson). The university is not required to „fundamentally alter‟ its
programs or incur “undue hardship”.
