The Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellowship Scheme recruits recent postgraduate economists to work for two years in the public sectors of developing countries in Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. The Fellowship Scheme addresses capacity gaps in these countries by providing highly-qualified junior economists. Fellows gain valuable work experience in areas like poverty reduction, budgeting, and trade policy. Past Fellows have gone on to careers in international organizations, non-profits, and academia. To apply, candidates must have an excellent degree in economics or a related field and submit an application form available on ODI's website.
