Since 2011, the firm has contributed to humanitarian relief and restoration efforts in Japan after
the Fukushima Disaster. Deloitte has also contributed startup capital to 2,000 new enterprises
over the same period.
In 2014, Deloitte mitigated water stewardship risks in paper mills for Smurfit Kappa, a leader in
European paper packaging.
Deloitte’s humanitarian efforts span from post-cyclone relief in the South Pacific, earthquake
relief in Nepal, to support of the UN Ebola Multi-Partner Trust Fund.
The RightStep Innovation Prize awards $100,000 cash and the same in pro-bono services to
