1. Numeracy Test for the 8-
week Curriculum

2. Test Administration
• No time limit but the test must be conducted within the given period
for numeracy
• All learners will take the test
• Pre-test will be administered on the 1st week of the LRC and the post
test will be administered on the 10th week.
• Under the regular curriculum, the numeracy test will be administered
on the 5th week of each quarter
(Note: The post test result of the LRC will serve as the pre-test data
under the regular curriculum)

3. Interpretation of the results
Description Scale(Percentage Score)
Highly Proficient 90 – 100
Proficient 75 – 89
Nearly Proficient 50 – 74
Low Proficient 25 – 49
Non-proficient 0 – 24

4. Test Coverage
Grade 1
• Addition – 5 items ( items 1, 2, 3, 4, & 15)
• Subtraction – 4 items ( items 5, 6, 7, & 8)
• Understanding Numbers – 8 items ( items 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, & 14)
(Note: Items 9 & 10 has 2 stimulus)

5. Test Coverage
Grade 2
• Addition – 5 items ( items 1, 2, 3, 11, & 14)
• Subtraction – 4 items ( items 4, 5, 6, & 15)
• Understanding Numbers – 6 items ( items 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, & 13)

• Addition – 2 items ( items 1 & 2)
• Subtraction – 2 items ( items 3 & 4)
• Multiplication – 3 items ( items 5, 6, & 15)
