The nucleus of the Earth is composed of iron, nickel, and iridium and has two parts - an external liquid nucleus and an internal solid nucleus. It is the innermost layer of the planet, located beneath the mantle. The internal core is made mostly of solid iron and is smaller than Pluto, while the external core is liquid and composed of iron and nickel between the mantle and internal core.
Lesson 8: Shape,Size and Structure of the earthJamaica Olazo
The Earth was formed at the same time as the other planets of the Solar System from a vast spinning disc of gas and dust.
Scientists have gathered valuable information about the Earth with the use of advance science and technology to help us understand our planet.
They have determined the size and shape of the Earth by using precise instruments and equipment.
The Earth is shaped like an Orange because it bulges at the Equator and is flat at the polar regions.
Therefore, the Earth is an Oblate Spheroid.
Geodesy – the science that studies and measures the exact size and dimensions of the Earth.

Acetabularia Information For Class 9 .docxvaibhavrinwa19
Acetabularia acetabulum is a single-celled green alga that in its vegetative state is morphologically differentiated into a basal rhizoid and an axially elongated stalk, which bears whorls of branching hairs. The single diploid nucleus resides in the rhizoid.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2. WHAT IS IT?
• The nucleus is the most internal
part of the earth, it´s made of 3 metals
And its temperature is at a very high level.
• Its radius is larger than the radius of
Mars.
• The nucleus has two parts:
-an external nucleus, which is mostly liquid
-an internal nucleus, which is mostly solid.
3. WHAT IS IT MADE OF?
The nucleus of the earth is composed
by:
·Iron: It is a necessary mineral for the
body and also a chemical element.
·Nickel: It is a metal with a high
magnetic level and a chemical element.
·Iridium: It is a hard and heavy
silver-white metal and a chemical
element.

CORE
EXTERNAL COREMANTLE
CORTEX
5. PARTS DEFINITION
- Internal core: The internal core is made of iron and
is smaller than Pluton.
- External core: The outer core of the Earth is liquid.
It is composed of iron and nickel and is between the
mantle and the internal core.
- Mantle: The mantle of the Earth is between the
external core and the cortex. The mantle is 33 km
deep.
-Cortex: It is the rocky part of the Earth. The most
abundant elements of this layer are silicon, oxygen,
aluminum and magnesium.
