Credibility In William Shakespeare s Romeo And Juliet
Juliet, you don t know what you are about to do.This potion could change your life forever, or even
end your life. This all started when you and Romeo met at the party. Romeo instantly fell in love with
you and wanted to marry you. At first you didn t know if it was true love since it happened so
suddenly. Even though you knew it might not be true love you married him anyway, which was
irresponsible. Your marriage caused Tybalt s death, which lead to your dad wanting you to marry
Paris. Now, your wedding to Paris is tomorrow, and Romeo is in Mantua. Juliet, you can t drink this
potion, it may kill you, your family will be devastated, and your brain is not fully developed to make
this decision. You believe that Friar is completely reliable and trustworthy, but he may be out to kill
you. Friar wasn t responsible or reliable when he married you and Romeo in secret. Friar knows that it

You are still young, and your brain is not fully developed yet. According to the National Institute of

tendency to act on impulse (NIMH). At your age, your brain will act on impulse. The first thing you
thought of is killing yourself, then you went to Friar and he talked about the potion. You did not even
think about it or the consequences of it, you just agreed to the first thing he said. You have only known
Romeo for a few days and you are already willing to kill yourself for him. You don t have much time
to think and that is understandable, but you need to think this through. The potion could change your

Friar randomly threw things together to make it, you can t act on impulse and say this is okay. Your

pH, Protisits, and Ponds
Everything Pond Water
2
Introduction
Humans are surrounded by thousands of bodies of water throughout the world. What makes a lake
differ from an ocean? Or what makes a pond different from a lake? A pond is a body of standing water
either natural or man made, that is usually smaller than a lake. Ponds contain amazing biodiversity,
providing an environment for birds, fish, amphibians, alages, protists, and many many more
organisms. A pond is normally much shallower than a lake, and sometimes plants roots can grow all
the way to the bottom of the pond because the suns rays can penetrate to the bottom of the pond. It is
very hard to determine the difference between a pond and a lake, most differences occur ... Show more

Alages seemed to be more prominent at the bottom of the pond water sample. Blue green algae can
grow without nitrogen and will soon dominate the pond. (3) While looking at blue green algae when
looking under the microscope, it was surprising at how little quantity there was. Expecting to find
more algae at the other levels, samples of all three layers of the pond water; top, middle, and bottom
were taken. Each layer contained nearly the same amount of algae. Expecting to find many protists
near the bottom, numerous samples at that layer were taken, only to find them dominated by blue
green algae. This find was not expected. The lack of Protist activity could be due to the temperature of
the water and season when the pond water sample was collected. The colder temperatures in winter,
along with reduced light, can lead to less and slower Protist activity. Looking at the hypothesis, it was
unclear to the number of algae seen as the pH changed. Algae numbers seemed to be consistent
regardless of the pH, or the layer of water which the sample was taken. For future experiments, it
would be helpful if there was alage measurements as far as quantity of algae. Since the pH remained
consistent and did not fluctuate, there was no way of determining the alages numbers. Proper
measurements are crucial when trying to determine the legitimacy of a hypothesis.

In conclusion, ponds are bodies of water that are normally smaller than a lake, that

Short Term Memory
By strengthening an existing synapse in some way you can create a neural pathway in a short time.
There are many local short term memory circuits in the brain. Biochemical modification and rehearsal
of synapses mediates the short term memory function. The hippocampus releases fresh memory traces
with the cortex, eventually blending memory patterns in the cortex via gene expression into the
protein modified synapses of long term memory. The blending process could take days or even weeks
for deeply set long term memory. So synapses in the cortex that were first circuits for the short term
memory became through rehearsal and blending molecularly engraved as long term memory.[7]
An individual neuron can be a part of a lot of memory patterns. The thousands of synapses of its
dendritic tree will have different activity configurations for each of the memory patterns in which it
participates.[7] ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In general the short term memory refers to memories that last no longer than 30 seconds unless they
are rehearsed in that time frame, this paragraph will discuss the short term memory in depth.[9]
The short term memory is the part of the memory in the brain that can store information for a very
short period of time. It can only hold a limited amount of information for several seconds up to several
minutes. The short term memory is located in the prefrontal lobe of the brain (figure 3.1), inside this
the short term memory is located inside the hippocampus and the amygdala.[9]

Che Guevar A Visionary Leader In The Cuban Revolution
Che Guevara Words without deeds are worthless! When asked about Che Guevara the first thing that
is mentioned is the famous image of his face on t shirts worn by left leaning young adults, but did you
know he was a prominent figure in the Cuban Revolution? Guevara was both a visionary and ethical
leader because of his ability to lead the Cuban Revolution and because he cared about suffering. In
this paper we will review how Guevara was a visionary leader through his communication, continuous
engagement and willingness to put everything on the line. Second, we will examine how Guevara
applied ethical principles though reflective thinking and intellectual empathy in helping him make the
ethical decision to be a Revolutionary. Finally, I will reflect on how Guevara s visionary and ethical
leadership has influenced me to make changes to my leadership style. Guevara used his visionary and
ethical leadership traits to start a revolution across Latin America.
Visionary Leader Che Guevara displayed the characteristics of a true Visionary Leader throughout his
involvement with Fidel Castro s efforts to overthrow the Batista government in Cuba. As a military
advisor, he inspired and motivated guerilla troops in battles against Batista forces through both his
words and actions (History.com Staff, 2009). According to the Full Range Leadership chapter, this is
the definition of inspirational motivation. An example of this can found in the fierce and decisive
battle at Santa

Analysis Of The Jesus I Never Knew By Philip Yancey
Yancey The Jesus I Never Knew by Philip Yancey is a book that breaks down Jesus s life. This book
opens up eyes that were once closed to certain situations. This book makes the bible relatable and
actually makes the reader to think about the time when Jesus was born. Instead of reading the bible
word for word, this book allows you to think about what actually happed during the time period. The
Jesus I Never Knew puts the bible in modern time and put the bible in our eyes. We all know how the
first Christmas actually happened, but I never understood the background story of it. Jesus was a
person that as a human begins to grow into adulthood, their knowledge and understanding of Jesus
changed. Paul Yancey wrote, I first got acquainted ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The people were foretold of Jesus s coming, but they were not expecting him to come as a common
person. They were expecting him to come in riches and glory, but he came down in the humblest way.
Our whole existence was based on a young teenage girl named Mary. She was foretold by an angel of
her being pregnant with the holy son. If it was up to our generation to give birth to a being that would
save the whole world, they might dismiss the idea and try to abort the child. Our generation would be
in shambles. According to Yancey, The virgin Mary, though, whose parenthood was unplanned, had a
different response. She heard the angel out, pondered the repercussions, and replied, I am the Lord s
servant. May it be to me as you have said (Yancey, 32). Mary was ready for the spirit of the Holy
Ghost to impregnate her with the holy child. Even though she was a teenager, she did not question the
what the angel had told her. Mary was engaged to be married to Joseph and instead of Joseph making
a big scene about he baby (Jesus) not being his, he hid her away from the shame that his soon to be
wife would endure. Jesus s coming was already foretold in the Old Testament and he hardly seemed
like a threat to Caesar Augustus, because of the great kind Augustus was. Jesus s birth was a small
incident while Augustus ruled and little attention was paid to him, but it all changed

Dietary Intake And Psychological Distress
Abstract
Necessary dietary intake is very important during pregnancy; it can affect not only the mother but also
the unborn baby. There are a couple of factors that play a huge role when the levels are abnormal.
Dietary intake and psychological distress are two major components that make up a healthy
pregnancy. In some parts of the world pregnant women do not get adequate micronutrients and
macronutrients. Not only is this an increasing risk of necessary dietary intake and psychological
distress but this can be the reason why stressors occur in the first place. Not having resources for
pregnant women who are low in social economic status could be the reason why there are health
issues among pregnant women.
Keywords: pregnancy, health, dietary intake, psychological distress Factors Influencing Health Issues
Among Pregnant Women During pregnancy, women s health is crucial to meet nutritional needs.
There are many factors that can affect a pregnancy. Major factors include: stress, diet, health,
substance use, psychological disorder and previous trauma experiences. It is very important during the
pregnancy that the mother is not exposed to any negativity. Any negativity can affect the unborn baby.
There are many stories of previous experiences that have affected the unborn baby due to a negative
environment. The participants stories (Hanghoj, 2013) shared their experience of risk associated with
physical activity. Health issues are commonly correlated with dietary intake

Impact Of Oc On Employee Performance
Impact of OC on employee/organisational performance There is a common consensus that employees
behaviours are shaped by their culture (Denison, 1984, Furnham and Gunter, 1993). In an
organisational context, management interest in a culture lies in what impact culture can have on the
commercial or financial performance of a firm. Organisational performance (which is derived from
employee performance) or success implies to the contributions or productivity of employees of an
organisation. Research indicates that culture is a key factor in the performance of successful
companies Peters and Waterman (1982); Goldsmith and Clutterbuck (1984). Denison (1990) contends
that the performance of an organisation is determined by the extent to which the values of OC are
comprehensively shared among its members. However, other studies suggest that there is little or no
evidence that supports the correlation between culture and organisational performance Reynolds
(1986), Hitt and Ireland (1987). Contrary to Waterman s and Peters view, a number of organisations
with appropriate cultural characteristics were found to be in financial problems let alone good
performance (Carroll, 1983; Thompson and McHugh, 1990). According to Alvesson (2002), the direct
correlation between organisational culture and performance is somewhat ambiguous. Schein (1984)
argues that cultural strength may or may not be correlated with organisational effectiveness as the
relation between culture and effectiveness are

Oedipus The King Jocasta Essay
She had an obligation to conduct such research, which could have been by starting further dialogue
with Oedipus to inquire into his background and ensure that he was indeed not her son. As a result, the
scars on Oedipus s ankles and his limp were sufficient evidence to put the responsibility on Jocasta to
further inquire into the matter before marrying Oedipus, and puts the blame on her for the marriage
that results. The fact that Oedipus s appearance resembled that of Jocasta s first husband, Laius, was
another piece of evidence that should have caused Jocasta to identify Oedipus as her son; this
combined with the fact that Jocasta did not ascertain her son s death was sufficient to obligate Jocasta
to further inquire into the background of Oedipus. When Oedipus asks Jocasta to ... Show more

Jocasta his fear of marrying his mother; she attempts to persuade Oedipus that such a relationship
would be perfectly acceptable, saying: As to your mother s marriage bed don t fear it (1104). An
interpretation of this is that Jocasta realized the truth and attempts to have Oedipus accept it as well;
she wants him to [brush] the fear aside ( Jocasta: Mother and Wife ). This interpretation seems to solve
the puzzle as to how Jocasta had an overwhelming amount of evidence to realize that Oedipus was her
son and still never revealed the truth to Oedipus; whether this interpretation is true or not, it still shows
Jocasta s ignorance and puts her at fault for the

Whale Rider Analysis
Whale Rider Essay
Whale Rider directed by Nicki Caro has won many awards such as Critic s Choice Movie Award for
Best Young Performer and Independent Spirit Award for Best International Film. The award winning
film explores the many privileges, obligations and duties of the leaders and potential leaders in
protagonist Pai s Maori community. Caro does this through characterisations of Pai, and her
supporting characters, such as Koro, her grandfather. He believes that his duty was to establish a new
chief with no modern compromise. Pai, on the other hand, she has to prove to Koro that the traditional
ways need to adapt like the world around them. So, minor characters also had roles, duties and
expectations throughout the film that they had issues fulfilling.
The film displayed the theme of duty specifically through Koro. Koro had to obey ancient traditions
but he also had the sacred role to establish a new male chief. Koro s dedication to the traditional ways
allowed no compromise, even if it was defeating. At the beginning of the film, Koro tells Nanny
Flowers that Pourangi would have another child He ll have another child even though his wife and one
of the twins had just died. He never acknowledges Pai and focuses on himself and his job to find the
male chief. He even tries to set Pai s father Pourangi up with Pai s school teacher. Pourangi showcases

The Major Causes Of The Glorious Revolution
Major Causes of the Glorious Revolution of 1688 The Glorious Revolution of 1688 was the successful
invasion of England by the Dutch Republic lead by William of Orange. William of Orange s invasion
of England was in large part due to the political division occurring in England from the periods before.
The English nobles were uneasy with the current monarchy, King James II, during the time before the
Glorious Revolution. This uneasiness began during the Restoration period of England between 1660
and 1688. King Charles II ruled from 1660 to 1685, when he dies and his brother James II succeeds
him and rules until 1688. From 1660 to 1667, King Charles II rules with his leading minister Edward
Hyde and the Cavalier Parliament under an Anglican Royalist consensus. This period of time restored
the natural political and social order for England. The Clarendon Code is passed during this time and
secures the Church of England s supremacy over the country s religious life, by making it difficult for
people from other religions to hold their own churches. The Clarendon Code consisted of the
Corporation Act of 1661, the Act of Uniformity of 1662, the Conventicle Act of 1664, and the Five
Mile Act of 1665.
Then from 1665 to 1667, the second Anglo Dutch War is fought and the Dutch were victorious. This
War was caused by King Charles II s hate of the Dutch politics and its housing of former English
radicals and exiles and for an increase of England s naval development and revenue.

Short Essay On Jimmy Hoffa
Jimmy Hoffa was a character of a man, and a smart one at that. A pioneer in the labor union
community, Hoffa controversially climbed up the Teamsters union chain of command. On his way up
though, Hoffa made many enemies in the business of organized crime. His aggressively sly behavior
earned him as much respect as it did threats, and his work made him more successful than he could
have ever imagined. In all of his glory, Hoffa vanished like it did. There is no doubt that Hoffa is gone,
but the question is, was it by choice or by murder?
James Riddle Hoffa was born on february 14th, 1913 in Brazil, Indiana. He dropped out of school at a
young age to work and help support his family. Working for a local loading dock in Detroit, hoffa got
to see poor labor conditions first hand. He organized his first strike shortly after. Using fresh
strawberries as a bargaining tool, he landed better contracts for the other workers and himself. In the
1930s after joining the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Hoffa became a labor organizer for the
teamsters union. He also married Josephine Poszywak in 1936, with whom he had two children. ...

jail for fraud, jury tampering, and conspiracy in 1967. For three years, Hoffa continuously tried to
appeal his many convictions but was unsuccessful. In 1971, president Richard Nixon commuted his
sentence, but banned Hoffa from holding a leadership position in the teamsters union for nine years.

Neuroticism And Extraversion Essay
Personality traits may contribute significantly in influencing SWB. The most repeated finding in this
field is the relationship between Extraversion and positive affect on the impact of SWB (Eid,
Riemann, Angleitner Borkenau, 2003). This connection can work in two ways. To begin with, people
have a tendency to be happier in social circumstances (Pavot, Diener Fujita, 1990), and they should be
happier in light of the fact that extraverts invest more energy socially (Watson, Clark, McIntyre
Hamaker, 1992). Second, Extraversion by and large has a positive effect on friends, family, and other
relationships, while Neuroticism is regularly a negative indicator (Anderson, John, Keltner Kring,
2001; Belsky, Jaffee, Caspi, Moffit Silva, 2003; ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Literature reviews since the times of Wilson (1967) point to such elements as optimism, sociability
and extraversion as the essential sources, or at least correlates with SWB. Happiness and its elements
are connected differentially and anotomously to the personality traits of Extraversion and Neuroticism
has been broadly recorded since Costa and McCrae (1980) exhibited that positive affect associates
with Extraversion and that negative affect corresponds contrarily with Neuroticism. Notion that
Extraversion is the overwhelming predictor of happiness would seem, by all accounts, to be plainly
obvious in light of the fact that Extraversion is connected with friendships and social interactions,
which are major source of happiness and personal fulfilment in both private and public life (Campbell,
Converse Rodgers, 1976). Moreover, modern culture implements a high level of social activity and
interaction, both due to a constantly expanding population and on account o an expanding
interreliance on others to meet the regular needs of living (Pavot, Diener Fujita,

Introduction
In today s fast evolving technological environments, capacity planning is confronted with what may
be the biggest challenge facing capacity planning and management is the migration to cloud
computing. The objective of capacity planning in IT is to provide quality computing services to users
in a way that makes fiscal sense to the company (TeamQuest, 2010). The difficulties introduced by
cloud based structures address the question of whether an organization should use capacity
evaluations. Businesses use these evaluations in making decisions on their needs. Cloud computing is
based on the idea of a shared computing, storage, network, and application resources all provided by a
third party. This paper will explain what motivates a company a company to perform computer
capacity evaluations.
Capacity Planning Challenges
Capacity planning is challenging for many organizations, as there are a whole host of alternatives
available. In the past, the tough decisions were essentially in reference to server capacity. There was
no major issue in having too much capacity. The Cloud is steadily changing technological and
computing environments when it comes to evaluating capacity needs. Before the Cloud, to measure

Ambiguity In Great Expectations
Ambiguity draws across anyone; when they are seeking a coherent meaning in their life. The fabric
that weaves together existence can be baffling when one seeks to analyze it. The search for self, as
well as knowing and trusting one s self is echoed through out literature in humanity; it could be
haunting and cause great trepidation, to hold on to a vision that could alter their judgement, as well
can cause a fierce storm in the supreme realm that is objective truth. Great Expectations, by Charles

Aquinas Five Ways Essay
In Five Ways, written by Thomas Aquinas, the philosopher is argues that there is a god .He gives five
well rounded arguments to support his claim, as well as introducing rebuttals to possible objections of
his theory. He begins with his first argument that concludes the existence of god which focuses on the
force of motion. Aquinas goes on to explain that if something in motion was caused by something else
then that something else must have come from something which he identifies as nothing else . This
claim, that change must come from something and this line of change can not be infinite supports his
claim of a higher being or god for there must always be a reason for change. The second argument
being causation shows that because everything ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
god. The fifth and final argument argues that because we give things with no purpose or lack of
knowledge a purpose, there is a god for there must have been a thing which directed a being with the
intelligence to utilize a thing with none and this direction being given by god. Aquinas then ends his
claim with a rebuttal to his previous objections he list in the beginning of the article. Here he uses a
more direct approach of supporting his claim. The argument of why is there evil if there is a god? , is
shot down by the philosopher in a romantic way. Aquinas goes on to rebuttal that god in fact does not
allow evil and all evil will eventually produce good simply because god does not allow evil. He
finishes the article with a last rebuttal of the causation of nature. He claims that because the causation
for this is unreachable it must be traced back to god. Aquinas structures his arguments using the
socratic method, giving broad claims that many would support forcing them to then except his
conclusions for his five arguments for if you were to disagree then you would then be contradicting

Persuasive Essay On Respect
As children we are taught to always show respect to those around us. We are taught to never say no to
an adult, to listen and to use manners to everyone around us. But as we grow older we develop a sense
of rebelliousness, and an urge to question every single moral and value we have learned.
So the burning question arises: Should respect be given to everyone no matter what, or is it something
that needs to be earned? I believe that respect is a given. Like a natural right, it is born with it, and it is
your choice whether you can gain more or lose it. People around the world have been fighting all
around the world for equality. Isn t that the same as respect? We have been fighting for respect this
whole time, so why should we suddenly discriminate every organism on this planet. Everyone has a
side of insecurity and if we keep making people feel ashamed of that, there would be no respect.
Respect is what separates me from you, him from her. But shouldn t everyone get respect no matter
the case? From CEOs to retail workers?
According to The Positivity Solution, an organization dedicated to spread positivity, dignity, and
kindness, Rudeness is often a by product of a lack of respect. Not to sound like Captain Obvious here,
but most people don t choose to be rude and disrespectful to people who they respect, do they? . What
they are trying to convey is that people often don t give everyone the respect they deserve. When we
do not give people respect, we lose respect for ourselves and become rude in other people s eyes. As
we learn to realize that everyone deserves respect, we can see that even the most small things can earn
our attention. If you are consciously deciding to give people respect or not, that is a mistake. Why do
people need your acceptance to be treated equally? They do not. And if you are making a choice based
on shallow judgment, you are destroying the love and kindness that others have shown to you. To be
critical like that is unacceptable and wrong universally.

Tiger Sharks-Personal Narrative
I muttered swear words under my breath as I finally made it into the doors of work. Usually I m never

What Are The Disadvantages Of Homeschooling
Does homeschooling deprive kids of a normal social life? How can children learn to interact with
other people if they stay at home all the time doing school? Many people question whether
homeschooling adequately equips kids with skills necessary for life in society. Ms. Liza Blau, founder
of NYC Asthma Wellness Center, considers homeschooling a social disadvantage. In her article Social
Disadvantages of Home Schooling, she expresses her belief that homeschooled children lack the
opportunities to acquire the social skills that other kids hone at public school. However, despite the
popular myth that homeschooled children have few opportunities to socialize outside of their family,

laws. Abortion is the termination of a fetus from the womb before it is able to survive independently.
Abortion has been a hot topic for quite a long time and has affected many lives of women in every
socioeconomic situation throughout human history. Until 1880, women in the United States were
using abortion as a device for population control From then on, abortion was only legal if the woman s

Less than half of one percent are referred for adoption (4 6). Birth control is not absolute. According

Nashville Producer Owen Bradley constructed a studio away from downtown in the famed Quonset

2) The Europeans who settled in the South African cape were very successful. One reason this
happened was because the African cape and Europe sit at a similar distance from the equator. This
means the climate of the two areas were similar, allowing for crops and domesticated animals from
Europe to survive in the South African cape. Another reason the Europeans were successful was
because of germs. The Africans did not have the same immunity as the Europeans to diseases that

The Characteristics Of Nationalism In The Faerie Queene...
The word epic ignites a multitude of reactions in the minds of literature lovers and passive readers
alike. Some people may think of the slang version of this term while other may fondly remember the
theater. However, when one is conscious of literary analysis and literature, they can always fall back
to the genre of an epic poem. In literary terms, an epic poem is considered to be a lengthy, narrative
poem that has a focus on the exploits of a hero and is full of immense amounts of style and figurative
language. Normally, by following this hero throughout the poem, the readers are introduced to the
alignment between the poem with a specific nation or national identity. Several characteristics of epic
poetry lend to this concept, especially those found in both The Faerie Queene and Paradise Lost. Both
epic poems focus on historical context and on the characteristics of a heroic journey, the scale of the
setting, and divine intervention in order to establish a trend of English nationalistic and religious
identity. The period before these two poems were written in was filled with religious dissent that first
began with Henry VIII s establishment of the Church of England. This action began a long chain of
religious opposition between this new Protestant movement and Catholicism. From entire Protestant
rules such as the rule of Henry s son, James I, to the slaughter and persecution of Protestants in the
rule of Mary I, England was searching for a religious identity that

Animal Testing Should Not Be Banned
Picture yourself applying your favorite make up or taking medicine prescribed to you by your doctor,
and ask yourself, how do you know it s safe? Have you ever wondered what goes in to make sure that
cosmetics and medicine isn t lethal? A majority of ensuring items such as medicine and cosmetics are
safe to use is done by testing the medicine and cosmetics on a multitude of different kinds of animals
(Abbott 1). Animal testing saved many lives in the past ( Animal , par.7) but as science bred new
methods, much like in vitro, which uses human cells cultivated in a lab, the potential for a replacement
to animal testing arose (Abbott 1). Whether or not one is more effective than the other has been a hot

If the animal shows any irritation or damage, it is possible to decide whether or not the chemical is
permissible to use in consumer products. Experiments such as these are performed to test whether or
not items like mascara are safe for humans to use depending on the reaction of the animal (Abbott 1).
Many of these experiments require hundreds of animals to get a clear result (Abbott 1). As animal
testing progressed throughout history, health organizations and industries started the initiation of
alternative tests, which involve a number of different approaches that do not involve animals. Finding
alternatives to testing with animals wasn t a main priority for many, until the European Union initiated
a program called REACH, which stands for Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals
(Abbott 1). This initiative required European countries to document the 30,000+ chemicals that are
used in experiments to measure the safety of cosmetics and medications. Issuing this initiative caused
many agencies to become concerned with how much it would cost to go through all of these animal
tests and document each chemical (Abbott 1). Due to this reason, many began to implement the new
alternatives that were presented to many agencies. These different types of alternatives all stem from
in vitro procedures. In vitro testing uses cells that are cultivated in a lab to form different tissues for
scientists to test. For example, the different

Test Anxiety And Academic Performance
Whether academia or professional, students of all ages are faced with the challenges of obtaining and
maintaining good academic or professional performance in order to advance to the other level. There
are many key factors that contributes to the decline in performance however, one that renders further
investigation is test anxiety.
According to research, test anxiety is known as an overwhelming feeling of disturbance and distress
among students that impairs their cognitive and emotional behavior. It is a reaction to a specific
situation trait that is associated with an individual s experiences while taking a test. A review of the
literature shows that test anxiety is a key factor in decline in students academic performance. (Farooqi,
Ghanit, Speilberger, 2012).
Several studies were conducted to test the relationship between anxiety and academic performance
(Farooqi et al., 2012). One that captures the construct of test anxiety is Speilberger Test Anxiety
Inventory (TAI). TAI focuses on two specific components that are linked to anxiety and academic
performance that is worry and emotionality (Farooqi et al., 2012). Worry is often associated with the
decline in test performance students with high test anxiety (Henderson, Zhang, 2014). Worry as an
essential component, is used to measure a student s cognition and thought process who are concerned

because one bases its beliefs on the Bible while the other focuses on the Qur an. One also has seven
layers of Hell, while the other does not. The two are similar because they have analogous outlines of
how the human race should live; for Christianity it is the Ten Commandments and for Islam it is the
Five Pillars. Another way they are similar is that both have judgment take place after death occurs.
The writing of the Bible took many years and multiple authors to portray the teachings of God. On the
other hand, Muhammad individually recorded the Qur an the holy book of Islam. Though Muhammad
recorded the Qur an, God was the one that told him what should be written. Having said this, the two

Real World Vs Crucible
The Crucible Compared to the Real World Piers Anthony once said, When one person makes an
accusation, check to make sure that he himself is not the guilty one. Sometimes it is those whose case
is weak who make the most clamour. Everybody has been accused of doing something that they have
not at some point in their life. Being blamed for something that one was not responsible for happens
during adulthood just as much as it does during childhood. False accusations are not uncommon in
today s society. As matter of fact, they ve been prevalent throughout all of history. The Crucible is a
play in which three girls are accused of witchcraft. The play is based on the time of the Salem Witch
Trials. Comparatively, this was a time in history where ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One of the most prevalent cases of false accusation is a woman arraigning a man for rape. Biurny
Peguero s case is a perfect example. A woman named Biurny Peguero decided to frame a man named
William McCaffery, who was a construction worker at the time. Peguero told law enforcement that she
was sexually assaulted by three men, only mentioning McCaffery. She utilized the bite marks on her
body that she received from a night out with her girl friends to claim that McCaffery caused them.
After the night out, she asked the three men to give her a ride back to her friends. McCaffery and the
other two men did just that, without touching her. She received the bite marks from her friends,
because when she returned to her friends, all of them broke out in a ridiculous brawl. Edicio Martinez
of CBS News wrote that, But upon the returning of her friends the argument that began in the
Umbrella Lounge escalated into a full fledged fight. The women punched and bit at each other and
when she asked why she was so upset and if those boys raped you, she simply agreed, to try and
explain her behavior (Martinez). Peguero was intoxicated at the time, but if she wasn t meaning to be
malicious, she wouldn t have sent McCaffery to jail for four

  • 2. Credibility In William Shakespeare s Romeo And Juliet Juliet, you don t know what you are about to do.This potion could change your life forever, or even end your life. This all started when you and Romeo met at the party. Romeo instantly fell in love with you and wanted to marry you. At first you didn t know if it was true love since it happened so suddenly. Even though you knew it might not be true love you married him anyway, which was irresponsible. Your marriage caused Tybalt s death, which lead to your dad wanting you to marry Paris. Now, your wedding to Paris is tomorrow, and Romeo is in Mantua. Juliet, you can t drink this potion, it may kill you, your family will be devastated, and your brain is not fully developed to make this decision. You believe that Friar is completely reliable and trustworthy, but he may be out to kill you. Friar wasn t responsible or reliable when he married you and Romeo in secret. Friar knows that it is his fault that all of this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... You are still young, and your brain is not fully developed yet. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, Such a changing balance might provide clues to a youthful appetite for novelty, and a tendency to act on impulse (NIMH). At your age, your brain will act on impulse. The first thing you thought of is killing yourself, then you went to Friar and he talked about the potion. You did not even think about it or the consequences of it, you just agreed to the first thing he said. You have only known Romeo for a few days and you are already willing to kill yourself for him. You don t have much time to think and that is understandable, but you need to think this through. The potion could change your life, and any adult would take the time to think about the right decision. The potion is not tested and Friar randomly threw things together to make it, you can t act on impulse and say this is okay. Your brain simply isn t developed enough to make a logical ... • 3. Pond Water Paper 1 pH, Protisits, and Ponds Everything Pond Water 2 Introduction Humans are surrounded by thousands of bodies of water throughout the world. What makes a lake differ from an ocean? Or what makes a pond different from a lake? A pond is a body of standing water either natural or man made, that is usually smaller than a lake. Ponds contain amazing biodiversity, providing an environment for birds, fish, amphibians, alages, protists, and many many more organisms. A pond is normally much shallower than a lake, and sometimes plants roots can grow all the way to the bottom of the pond because the suns rays can penetrate to the bottom of the pond. It is very hard to determine the difference between a pond and a lake, most differences occur ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Alages seemed to be more prominent at the bottom of the pond water sample. Blue green algae can grow without nitrogen and will soon dominate the pond. (3) While looking at blue green algae when looking under the microscope, it was surprising at how little quantity there was. Expecting to find more algae at the other levels, samples of all three layers of the pond water; top, middle, and bottom were taken. Each layer contained nearly the same amount of algae. Expecting to find many protists near the bottom, numerous samples at that layer were taken, only to find them dominated by blue green algae. This find was not expected. The lack of Protist activity could be due to the temperature of the water and season when the pond water sample was collected. The colder temperatures in winter, along with reduced light, can lead to less and slower Protist activity. Looking at the hypothesis, it was unclear to the number of algae seen as the pH changed. Algae numbers seemed to be consistent regardless of the pH, or the layer of water which the sample was taken. For future experiments, it would be helpful if there was alage measurements as far as quantity of algae. Since the pH remained consistent and did not fluctuate, there was no way of determining the alages numbers. Proper measurements are crucial when trying to determine the legitimacy of a hypothesis. 7 Conclusion In conclusion, ponds are bodies of water that are normally smaller than a lake, that ... • 5. Short Term Memory By strengthening an existing synapse in some way you can create a neural pathway in a short time. There are many local short term memory circuits in the brain. Biochemical modification and rehearsal of synapses mediates the short term memory function. The hippocampus releases fresh memory traces with the cortex, eventually blending memory patterns in the cortex via gene expression into the protein modified synapses of long term memory. The blending process could take days or even weeks for deeply set long term memory. So synapses in the cortex that were first circuits for the short term memory became through rehearsal and blending molecularly engraved as long term memory.[7] An individual neuron can be a part of a lot of memory patterns. The thousands of synapses of its dendritic tree will have different activity configurations for each of the memory patterns in which it participates.[7] ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When asked about Che Guevara the first thing that is mentioned is the famous image of his face on t shirts worn by left leaning young adults, but did you know he was a prominent figure in the Cuban Revolution? Guevara was both a visionary and ethical leader because of his ability to lead the Cuban Revolution and because he cared about suffering. In this paper we will review how Guevara was a visionary leader through his communication, continuous engagement and willingness to put everything on the line. Second, we will examine how Guevara applied ethical principles though reflective thinking and intellectual empathy in helping him make the ethical decision to be a Revolutionary. Finally, I will reflect on how Guevara s visionary and ethical leadership has influenced me to make changes to my leadership style. Guevara used his visionary and ethical leadership traits to start a revolution across Latin America. Visionary Leader Che Guevara displayed the characteristics of a true Visionary Leader throughout his involvement with Fidel Castro s efforts to overthrow the Batista government in Cuba. As a military advisor, he inspired and motivated guerilla troops in battles against Batista forces through both his words and actions (History.com Staff, 2009). They were expecting him to come in riches and glory, but he came down in the humblest way. Our whole existence was based on a young teenage girl named Mary. She was foretold by an angel of her being pregnant with the holy son. If it was up to our generation to give birth to a being that would save the whole world, they might dismiss the idea and try to abort the child. Our generation would be in shambles. According to Yancey, The virgin Mary, though, whose parenthood was unplanned, had a different response. She heard the angel out, pondered the repercussions, and replied, I am the Lord s servant. May it be to me as you have said (Yancey, 32). Mary was ready for the spirit of the Holy Ghost to impregnate her with the holy child. • 9. Impact Of Oc On Employee Performance Impact of OC on employee/organisational performance There is a common consensus that employees behaviours are shaped by their culture (Denison, 1984, Furnham and Gunter, 1993). In an organisational context, management interest in a culture lies in what impact culture can have on the commercial or financial performance of a firm. Organisational performance (which is derived from employee performance) or success implies to the contributions or productivity of employees of an organisation. Research indicates that culture is a key factor in the performance of successful companies Peters and Waterman (1982); Goldsmith and Clutterbuck (1984). Denison (1990) contends that the performance of an organisation is determined by the extent to which the values of OC are comprehensively shared among its members. However, other studies suggest that there is little or no evidence that supports the correlation between culture and organisational performance Reynolds (1986), Hitt and Ireland (1987). Contrary to Waterman s and Peters view, a number of organisations with appropriate cultural characteristics were found to be in financial problems let alone good performance (Carroll, 1983; Thompson and McHugh, 1990). • 15. The Major Causes Of The Glorious Revolution Major Causes of the Glorious Revolution of 1688 The Glorious Revolution of 1688 was the successful invasion of England by the Dutch Republic lead by William of Orange. William of Orange s invasion of England was in large part due to the political division occurring in England from the periods before. The English nobles were uneasy with the current monarchy, King James II, during the time before the Glorious Revolution. This uneasiness began during the Restoration period of England between 1660 and 1688. King Charles II ruled from 1660 to 1685, when he dies and his brother James II succeeds him and rules until 1688. From 1660 to 1667, King Charles II rules with his leading minister Edward Hyde and the Cavalier Parliament under an Anglican Royalist consensus. This period of time restored the natural political and social order for England. The Clarendon Code is passed during this time and secures the Church of England s supremacy over the country s religious life, by making it difficult for people from other religions to hold their own churches. The Clarendon Code consisted of the Corporation Act of 1661, the Act of Uniformity of 1662, the Conventicle Act of 1664, and the Five Mile Act of 1665. Then from 1665 to 1667, the second Anglo Dutch War is fought and the Dutch were victorious. This War was caused by King Charles II s hate of the Dutch politics and its housing of former English radicals and exiles and for an increase of England s naval development and revenue. From ... The most repeated finding in this field is the relationship between Extraversion and positive affect on the impact of SWB (Eid, Riemann, Angleitner Borkenau, 2003). This connection can work in two ways. To begin with, people have a tendency to be happier in social circumstances (Pavot, Diener Fujita, 1990), and they should be happier in light of the fact that extraverts invest more energy socially (Watson, Clark, McIntyre Hamaker, 1992). Second, Extraversion by and large has a positive effect on friends, family, and other relationships, while Neuroticism is regularly a negative indicator (Anderson, John, Keltner Kring, 2001; Belsky, Jaffee, Caspi, Moffit Silva, 2003; ... The objective of capacity planning in IT is to provide quality computing services to users in a way that makes fiscal sense to the company (TeamQuest, 2010). Aquinas goes on to explain that if something in motion was caused by something else then that something else must have come from something which he identifies as nothing else . The argument of why is there evil if there is a god? , is shot down by the philosopher in a romantic way. Aquinas goes on to rebuttal that god in fact does not allow evil and all evil will eventually produce good simply because god does not allow evil. But as we grow older we develop a sense of rebelliousness, and an urge to question every single moral and value we have learned. So the burning question arises: Should respect be given to everyone no matter what, or is it something that needs to be earned? I believe that respect is a given. Like a natural right, it is born with it, and it is your choice whether you can gain more or lose it. People around the world have been fighting all around the world for equality. Isn t that the same as respect? We have been fighting for respect this whole time, so why should we suddenly discriminate every organism on this planet. But shouldn t everyone get respect no matter the case? From CEOs to retail workers? As we learn to realize that everyone deserves respect, we can see that even the most small things can earn our attention. If you are consciously deciding to give people respect or not, that is a mistake. Why do people need your acceptance to be treated equally? They do not. How can children learn to interact with other people if they stay at home all the time doing school? Many people question whether homeschooling adequately equips kids with skills necessary for life in society. Ms. Liza Blau, founder of NYC Asthma Wellness Center, considers homeschooling a social disadvantage. In her article Social Disadvantages of Home Schooling, she expresses her belief that homeschooled children lack the opportunities to acquire the social skills that other kids hone at public school. Both epic poems focus on historical context and on the characteristics of a heroic journey, the scale of the setting, and divine intervention in order to establish a trend of English nationalistic and religious identity. The period before these two poems were written in was filled with religious dissent that first began with Henry VIII s establishment of the Church of England. Issuing this initiative caused many agencies to become concerned with how much it would cost to go through all of these animal tests and document each chemical (Abbott 1).
