This document outlines a 7-step process for nonprofits to develop a "Superstar Brand" to attract donors. The steps include: 1) Creating an avatar of the ideal donor, 2) Conducting an attraction audit of current branding strategies, 3) Developing a brand promise, 4) Crafting a main message, 5) Creating talking points, 6) Adjusting and implementing changes over time, and 7) Sharing the brand message proactively. Throughout, short examples are provided from nonprofits that have implemented the steps.
