A mystery guest will be sharing with the class over the course of a four-week period, and students are tasked with learning about this person from clues. In the first week, students will view 7 pictures of the mystery guest's possessions and ask yes/no questions to infer details, which they can leave as voiced or written comments on the accompanying Voicethread presentation.

1. Mystery Guest
We have invited a mystery guest to share with us this
course during its four-week duration. We would like
you to discover as much as you can about this person.

2. For this first week, we are going to show you
some of this person's possessions and ask
you to make questions to see if what you can
infer from the pictures is true or not.

3. You will be shown 7 pictures and you can make
yes/no questions on one or on all of them.

4. Below this presentation, you will go to the
Voicethread presentation. You will see
each picture and you will be able to add
your question to any or all of the pictures.

5. To make your question, click on the button labeled
Comments. It will open to show several choices. For this
exercise, you can click on record to leave a voiced
question, or you can click on type to leave a printed one.

6. Another option is to add your questions to the Forum on
this page by clicking on “Add a new discussion”.
