Science is one of the subjects which should be taught at Elementary
School. In learning, teachers must use the media so that delivery of messages goes
properly and efficiently. Along with the development of science and technology,
emerging technology-based media that can be produced in the form of compact
disc (CD) which is called an interactive multimedia. This media is effective to
teach material which is applicable, proceeds, and difficult to reach. One of the
science materials which had an abstract and processed concept is human blood
circulatory system. During the time, the teacher admitted it difficult to teach this
material because of the limitation of the media that only a heart image. The
students also claimed that the material is difficult because it is full of abstract
concept and difficult to imagine. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an
Interactive Science Compact Disc Media Human Blood Circulatory System
material for fifth grader of Elementary School Fife Jatimulyo Malang. The
purpose of this research is to produce an interactive science CD media which is
worth according to subject matter experts, media specialists, field experts
(teachers), and student testing. So that interactive media can be used effectively.
The research design was adapted from Borg and Gall’s development
research models. The stage of developing is only done by a small group test due to
the limitation of time, effort, and cost. The interactive media has been validated
by the Science Lecturer of Educational Technology Department, one Lecturer of
Educational Technology Department, two Elementary School teachers, and has
been tested on ten Fifth Grader of Elementary School Five Jatimulyo Malang. The
data collection instrument used was a questionnaire with a rating scale format and
pre-test post-test question. Obtained data is in the form of verbal and numerical
data. The data analysis technique used is the average analysis and percentages
techniques.
The result of developing is an interactive science compact disc media
human blood circulatory system material for fifth grader of elementary school.
Validation by the science expert obtained percentage of 91%, 97.5% by the media
expert, 89.90% by the field expert or teacher, and 91.91% by the small test group
towards ten fifth graders of elementary school. Overall average result of the
feasibility test is equal to 92.49%. The feasibility of student’s data is also
supported by the results of pre-test which is 37.31% and 75.6% for post test. The
increasing average score of these students’ learning outcomes verify the
interactive science CD media is feasible and ready to be implemented.

Keywords: Developing, Interactive Science Compact Disc Media, Human Blood Circulatory System Material, Fifth Grader. Science is one of the subjects which should be taught at Elementary School. In learning, teachers must use the media so that delivery of messages goes properly and efficiently. Along with the development of science and technology, emerging technology-based media that can be produced in the form of compact disc (CD) which is called an interactive multimedia. This media is effective to teach material which is applicable, proceeds, and difficult to reach. One of the science materials which had an abstract and processed concept is human blood circulatory system. During the time, the teacher admitted it difficult to teach this material because of the limitation of the media that only a heart image. The students also claimed that the material is difficult because it is full of abstract concept and difficult to imagine. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an Interactive Science Compact Disc Media Human Blood Circulatory System material for fifth grader of Elementary School Fife Jatimulyo Malang. The purpose of this research is to produce an interactive science CD media which is worth according to subject matter experts, media specialists, field experts (teachers), and student testing. So that interactive media can be used effectively. The research design was adapted from Borg and Gall’s development research models. The stage of developing is only done by a small group test due to the limitation of time, effort, and cost. The interactive media has been validated by the Science Lecturer of Educational Technology Department, one Lecturer of Educational Technology Department, two Elementary School teachers, and has been tested on ten Fifth Grader of Elementary School Five Jatimulyo Malang. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire with a rating scale format and pre-test post-test question. Obtained data is in the form of verbal and numerical data. The data analysis technique used is the average analysis and percentages techniques. The result of developing is an interactive science compact disc media human blood circulatory system material for fifth grader of elementary school. Validation by the science expert obtained percentage of 91%, 97.5% by the media expert, 89.90% by the field expert or teacher, and 91.91% by the small test group towards ten fifth graders of elementary school. Overall average result of the feasibility test is equal to 92.49%. The feasibility of student’s data is also supported by the results of pre-test which is 37.31% and 75.6% for post test. The increasing average score of these students’ learning outcomes verify the interactive science CD media is feasible and ready to be implemented.
