1) The document describes the development of an interactive science compact disc (CD) on the human blood circulatory system for 5th grade elementary school students in Malang, Indonesia. 2) The CD was developed because teachers found the topic abstract and difficult to teach with only an image of the heart, while students said it was difficult to understand the abstract concepts. 3) The developed CD was validated by experts in science, media, teaching and tested with students. It received high validation ratings between 89-97% and increased student test scores, verifying the CD was effective for teaching the material.
