TECHNOLOGY
Educational Technology
is a field of study which is
concerned with the
practice of using
educational methods and
resources for the ultimate
goal of facilitating the
learning process.
Educational Technology is
a theory about how
problems in human
learning are identified and
solved. As a theory,
educational technology has
an integrated set of
principles that explain and
predict observed events.
Technology in Education
It one of the terms associated with
educational technology. It is a application of
technology to any of those processes involved
operating the instructions which house the
educational enterprise.
Technology Integration
It means using learning technologies to introduce,
reinforce, supplement and extend skills.
It can provide opportunities to respond to
instructional issues/problem.
These are channels or avenues or instruments of
communication.
Educational Media
Instructional Technology
It is part of educational technology which refers to
those aspects of educational technology that are concerned
with instructions as contrasted to designs and operations
of educational institutions.
Technology can be called BOON or “blessing”
when they are use in a proper way. With technology,
there is a lot that we can do which we could not do then.
It help us to do our work easier.
Technology can be called BANE or “curse” when
they are not used properly. Technology becomes a
detriment to learning and development.

Traditional Way
 The learner learns from the technology and the
technology serves as a TEACHER.
 Technology serves as source and presenter of
knowledge.
 It is assumed that ‘knowledge is embedded in the
technology and the technology presents that
knowledge to a students”.
The Roles of Educational Technology in Learning
 Technology serves as a PARTNER IN LEARNING.
 Educational technology serves as learning tool to
learn with.
 It engages learners in active, constructive,
intentional, authentic and cooperative learning.

can proceed to the new lesson and if the objective is

There are many reasons why
educational technology is very
important. There is a purpose why
educational technology is taught in
schools. Because educational
technology 1 and 2 wants the student to
know what is the use and how to use the
instructional media in relation to
education/teaching. Technology it helps
us to communicate to our family when
they are far from us. We learned
through technology on how to use the
computers, gadgets, etc.
Using instructional
material is an effective way of
engaging the students to the real
world situation. Nowadays, the
teahers are discussing their lesson
with the use of instructional
medias Also, based on
observation, the technology help
us to have a better learning. We
can easily understand and receive
the information.
A future educator must know the
right use of instructional medias so that
the computer will never replace the
teacher. The teacher must be the one who
will manipulate the computer, it is just a
material that will help the teacher and the
student to be more connected to one
another.
The technology will also help the
teacher to easily give chances to the
students that can excel in class by applying
medias/computers in their learning process.
There are instances that student is actively
participating in the class when they are
engage in using technology. In other words,
the technology has a big role in the field of
learning.

Today, the students are called the 21st
century learners. When we say 21st century
learners the students are living in a modern
world who are using end encountered
technology in their everyday life. They are
individuals that can use technologies in
good way to have a better learning.
The 21st century learners are able to:
• apply technology to their lives effectively, in a way
they can use it to learn better.
• what is the importance of educational technology
• know what is the purpose of the educational
technology
• make instructional material that is connected to a
particular topic
• know the right way of using technology
• know the limitations of using technology

  • 4. My name is Marissa B. Goles. I was born on January 06, 1996. I’m 20 years of age. Living in Manga, Alcantara, Cebu.
  • 5. I'm a third year student taking up Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in Content Education at Cebu Technological University, Moalboal Campus, Moalboal, Cebu.
  • 7. Educational Technology is a field of study which is concerned with the practice of using educational methods and resources for the ultimate goal of facilitating the learning process. Educational Technology is a theory about how problems in human learning are identified and solved. As a theory, educational technology has an integrated set of principles that explain and predict observed events.
  • 8. Technology in Education It one of the terms associated with educational technology. It is a application of technology to any of those processes involved operating the instructions which house the educational enterprise. Technology Integration It means using learning technologies to introduce, reinforce, supplement and extend skills. It can provide opportunities to respond to instructional issues/problem.
  • 9. These are channels or avenues or instruments of communication. Educational Media Instructional Technology It is part of educational technology which refers to those aspects of educational technology that are concerned with instructions as contrasted to designs and operations of educational institutions.
  • 10. Technology can be called BOON or “blessing” when they are use in a proper way. With technology, there is a lot that we can do which we could not do then. It help us to do our work easier. Technology can be called BANE or “curse” when they are not used properly. Technology becomes a detriment to learning and development. Technology: Boon or Bane?

  • 24. 8. Refine the Process (RP) • It is a process wherein if the students passed the evaluation and you achieved your objective then you can proceed to the new lesson and if the objective is not met or achieved then you will again go back to the process.

  • 28. There are many reasons why educational technology is very important. There is a purpose why educational technology is taught in schools. Because educational technology 1 and 2 wants the student to know what is the use and how to use the instructional media in relation to education/teaching. Technology it helps us to communicate to our family when they are far from us. We learned through technology on how to use the computers, gadgets, etc. Using instructional material is an effective way of engaging the students to the real world situation. Nowadays, the teahers are discussing their lesson with the use of instructional medias Also, based on observation, the technology help us to have a better learning. We can easily understand and receive the information.
  • 29. A future educator must know the right use of instructional medias so that the computer will never replace the teacher. The teacher must be the one who will manipulate the computer, it is just a material that will help the teacher and the student to be more connected to one another. The technology will also help the teacher to easily give chances to the students that can excel in class by applying medias/computers in their learning process. There are instances that student is actively participating in the class when they are engage in using technology. In other words, the technology has a big role in the field of learning.
  • 31. Today, the students are called the 21st century learners. When we say 21st century learners the students are living in a modern world who are using end encountered technology in their everyday life. They are individuals that can use technologies in good way to have a better learning.
