increased widely in Singapore as an alternate treatment for eczema. The purpose of
this pilot study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the two different treatment options,
evaluating the duration, outcome and recurrence rate of eczema in paediatrics. A
selective sampling will be used to obtain a total sample size of 50 participants from 2

In hindsight, all humans are different and have distinctive traits that make them an
individual. In the genre Science Fiction, apocalyptic text is extensive as it explores
the social structures of a destroyed world. Thus, the human mind is an important
aspect to explore when creating apocalyptic material. Remember, every person is
unique and handle situations differently. In theory, humansare biologically designed
to survive by all means necessary, in a broad sense to continue the protection of life.
The way a person s behavior switch from nonviolent to violent, can be a means of
survival of their situation. To shed light on, the change in humanbehavior is based on
the reality of their setting. This is an important outlook on humanity because of the
possibilities of an apocalyptic world becoming a reality. All things considered, the
behavior of human beings change during the post apocalypse as a way to cope and
survive the destruction of their norm.
In the event of total destruction, people are known to act differently because of fear
and confusion. The psychology of human behavior switches from empathic to
aggressive. Because human share the trait of fear, they are triggered to react
erratically as a way to adjust to the situation. In this case, the situation being the post
apocalypse, everyday society will not react the same way in a post apocalyptic world

Catalase Concentration Lab
The Rate of Enzyme Activity Under Different Enzyme Concentrations, Substrate
Concentrations, and pH Values
Hypothesis: There are three hypotheses for this experiment. If you increase catalase
concentration, the reaction rate will increase. This could occur because enzyme
concentration leads to more active sites, which leads to more reactions. Therefore,
with more catalase, there will be more enzymes to decompose the hydrogen peroxide
into water and oxygen. The oxygen will cause the pressure kPa/min to go up.
However, if the pH of the hydrogen peroxide is changed to 4, 7, and 10, the
reaction rate will be greatly reduced. As the pH increases, that denatures the
hydrogen peroxide if it is not in its optimal pH, which I think will be 7 because ...
One of the errors we made in the experiment was that the seal on the test tube
allowed the oxygen to go out and make the pressure be too low. Thus, for some
trials the test tube seals were tighter than in others. In addition, the drop size for the
pH buffer, hydrogen peroxide, water, and enzyme solution was inconsistent. This
affected our experiment because the measurements need to be exact for every
trial. Thus, if the drop sizes were to be the same, we could have had more accurate
data. Another error is that the swirling technique was inconsistent. Some of us
could have swirled more vigorously or swirled for a longer period of time. Also, a
huge error was that the catalase was too warm and old. This affected the way the
enzymes reacted with the hydrogen peroxide and our data. Additionally, sometimes
when dropping in drops of catalase, it would hit the side of the tub, which delayed
the reaction. Sometimes after trials we also did not clean the tubes. Therefore,
leaving extra catalase and messing up the exact measurements needed for the
experiment. In addition, the time delayed after adding catalase and pressing collect
on the computer was inconsistent. This could of caused the initial rate to not be
accurate. Not to mention that there could have been a pressure change in our
experiment because some of my lab partners and I moved the clear rubber tube
connected to the gas pressure sensor. Lastly, the
