Many natural changes are undesirable.It is necessary that these changes are properly controlled . We must study these changes to learn how they are caused and find ways to control them to safe guard ourselves.

Characterization and the Kinetics of drying at the drying oven and with micro...Open Access Research Paper
The objective of this work is to contribute to valorization de Nephelium lappaceum by the characterization of kinetics of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum. The seeds were dehydrated until a constant mass respectively in a drying oven and a microwawe oven. The temperatures and the powers of drying are respectively: 50, 60 and 70°C and 140, 280 and 420 W. The results show that the curves of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum do not present a phase of constant kinetics. The coefficients of diffusion vary between 2.09.10-8 to 2.98. 10-8m-2/s in the interval of 50°C at 70°C and between 4.83×10-07 at 9.04×10-07 m-8/s for the powers going of 140 W with 420 W the relation between Arrhenius and a value of energy of activation of 16.49 kJ. mol-1 expressed the effect of the temperature on effective diffusivity.

4. CAUSES OF MUDSLIDE
Mudslides often occur in areas with steep slopes or at
bottom of slopes or canyons. Mudslides develop when
water rapidly accumulates in the ground and result in
a surge of water-saturated, rock, earth and debris.
Mudslide usually start in steep slopes and can
activated by natural disaster.

Rapid snowmelt at the top of a mountain or period of
intense rainfall can trigger a mudslide, as the great
volume of water mixes with soil and causes it to liquefy
and move it downhill.
Prevention and mitigation:
Before mudslide: Be aware of your environment and
be alerted always if you are in hill area.

During mudslide: mudslides happen very fast and
there may be very little time to act. Move away quickly
from the path of the mudflow to another location. Do
not try to stay close and take photographs. Mudslide
move from uphill to downhill, therefore, avoid low-
lying areas or valleys. If there is a way to sound an
alarm, do so.

After mudslide: Stay away from the location until the
emergency workers and the experts confirm that it is
safe to go back. Look out for loose wires, broken utility
lines, and hanging objects, as they may be hazards.
Report them to your rescue officials. Get in touch with
emergency officials or listen to the radio or TV on what
to do.
