Presentation: 14th December 2017

Weighting: 70%
Trainees will give a presentation on methods for tracking progress for a group of learners in
their subject area.
The presentation should reflect their understanding of the theories and principles of
assessment and should demonstrate the positive use of relevant assessment methods.
Trainees will deliver the presentation to peers and should demonstrate a thorough
understanding of theories and practicalities of diverse assessment.
8. Presentation content
Create some notes using these headings:
Student tracking activities on your course/subject area
Assessment methods you use in lessons with best examples
What principles and theories may be relevant to these methods
How these assessments include learners and what could be improved
10. Presentation Peer Assessment
Using the feedback sheet provided make 2 comments on whether your peer has begun to
