 Having your WHY defined clearly in your
mind will be the foundation to your success.
 Having a why is a constant reminder in the
back of your mind pushing you when you
meet a challenge. Your why gets you back in
the game and helps you re-focus to do it
again.
JoAn Stead
 Some of the most successful people in
business had their most profitable ideas right
after their biggest failure.
 Too many people in business give up just
short of the finish line.
 They defeated themselves because they
didn’t have a strong enough WHY to push
through the tough times.
 After being cut from his high school basketball team, he
went home, locked himself in his room, and cried.
 She was demoted from her job as a news anchor because
she was told that she wasn’t fit for television.
 He was fired from a newspaper for “lacking imagination”
and having no original ideas.
 His first book was rejected by 27 publishers.
If you’ve never failed, you’ve
never tried anything new.
 Your WHY is what keeps you going when you face rejection
over your product, service or opportunity.
 Your WHY keeps you focused when your family or friends
aren’t 100% behind you or even worse try to knock you
down a notch.
 Having a strong WHY will make you almost immune to
these type of occurrences.
 My Story: At my Tocara Grand Opening, I had a lot of
family & close friends there and not a single one placed an
order or booked a show!
 Was I discouraged? YES!
 What did I do??? I reminded myself of my “WHY” and had a
second grand opening! I invited new people and kept
going! I focused on my goal of just getting 1 MORE booking!
…then after I got that booking, I focused on getting 1 MORE
booking…I made my goals simple and achievable, so I
didn’t feel overwhelmed or defeated.
 They may change over time!
 Keep your eye on the prize and stay focused!
 What is your Why? Ask yourself 5x, because
that is usually how deep we must go to get to
our true WHY! We are like onions!

To pay for wedding?
To pay for mortgage/rent?

  • 12.  Having your WHY defined clearly in your mind will be the foundation to your success.  Having a why is a constant reminder in the back of your mind pushing you when you meet a challenge. Your why gets you back in the game and helps you re-focus to do it again. JoAn Stead
  • 13.  Some of the most successful people in business had their most profitable ideas right after their biggest failure.  Too many people in business give up just short of the finish line.  They defeated themselves because they didn’t have a strong enough WHY to push through the tough times.
  • 14.  After being cut from his high school basketball team, he went home, locked himself in his room, and cried.  She was demoted from her job as a news anchor because she was told that she wasn’t fit for television.  He was fired from a newspaper for “lacking imagination” and having no original ideas.  His first book was rejected by 27 publishers. If you’ve never failed, you’ve never tried anything new.
  • 15.  Your WHY is what keeps you going when you face rejection over your product, service or opportunity.  Your WHY keeps you focused when your family or friends aren’t 100% behind you or even worse try to knock you down a notch.  Having a strong WHY will make you almost immune to these type of occurrences.  My Story: At my Tocara Grand Opening, I had a lot of family & close friends there and not a single one placed an order or booked a show!  Was I discouraged? YES!  What did I do??? I reminded myself of my “WHY” and had a second grand opening! I invited new people and kept going! I focused on my goal of just getting 1 MORE booking! …then after I got that booking, I focused on getting 1 MORE booking…I made my goals simple and achievable, so I didn’t feel overwhelmed or defeated.
  • 16.  They may change over time!  Keep your eye on the prize and stay focused!  What is your Why? Ask yourself 5x, because that is usually how deep we must go to get to our true WHY! We are like onions! Need Money? Want More Time with Family? To be financially independent? Want to Retire? To be a Stay At Home Mom? To pay for wedding? To pay for mortgage/rent? To get a new car?

  • 18. Bookings The Foundation of your Business! When you’re out of bookings, you’re temporarily out of business! Be consistent and work your biz weekly so you earn a weekly paycheck! Tina Kraft
  • 19.  We don’t see results immediately in our businesss for the work we do today. It may take 2 weeks to see the results from today!  This is a bad cycle that can get us discouraged and feel like our business is hopeless or not worth it.
  • 20.  Book & Hold 1 show each week min.  $200 min. weekly paycheck  Purpose to get 2 bookings from each show.  1 to replace the show you just held and 1 more to grow on.  Have a Recruiting Mindset.  Look for 2 people at every show to give an opportunity packet to & follow-up!
