JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible to: QAQC Project Manager
Essential Duties: a) Establish and enforce Q.C. Plan for respective specialized phase of work of each trade.
b) Insure compliance of all materials, construction activities by performing adequate
inspections and tests.
c) Review in detail all submittals, shop drawings, certificates of compliance, manufacturer’s
literature, material samples, guarantees, equipment data, etc. related to the respective
specialized work.
d) Report to the QAQC Manager the results of inspections and tests, both conforming and
defective, and study and recommend proper remedial actions as required.
e) Reject any work, which does not conform to specifications, drawings, and any other
contract requirements. List of any rejection with appropriate statement including
recommendation for correction will be immediately submitted to QAQC Manager for his
review and action.
f) Advise and report QAQC Manager the results of inspections in advance as early as
possible so that he can take an appropriate action for the following inspections:
1- Preparatory and initial inspections prior to the commencement of work.
2- Any test to be conducted.
3- Recommendation for the improvement of method, techniques and standard of work
performance.
4- Adequacy of materials, supplies, equipment and work schedule.
5- Daily follow-up inspections.
6- Pre-final inspection.
7- Submit all inspection requests to supervision consultant with 24 hour notice.
g) Be authorized to take immediate action such as stop work and reject the material and
equipment at site, if those are not strictly complied with the contract requirements.
h) Jointly with supervision consultant, inspect the materials and equipment that are to be
incorporated in the contract work on delivery to site to ensure conformance with
approved submittals and produce necessary inspection report for submission to
supervision consultant.
i) To report and correct any hazardous situation. If necessary, a stop work order will be
issued and the hazard corrected.

Plan for respective specialized phase of work of each trade. b) Insure compliance of all materials, construction activities by performing adequate inspections and tests. c) Review in detail all submittals, shop drawings, certificates of compliance, manufacturer’s literature, material samples, guarantees, equipment data, etc. related to the respective specialized work. d) Report to the QAQC Manager the results of inspections and tests, both conforming and defective, and study and recommend proper remedial actions as required. e) Reject any work, which does not conform to specifications, drawings, and any other contract requirements.
