Project key stimulators & incentives
132 million girls between the ages of 6 and 17 were
out of school in 2016,
15 million girls of primary school-age will never have
the opportunity to learn to read, write and count,
against approximately 10 million boys,
33% of girls do not complete primary education in
sub-Saharan Africa, compared to 29% for boys. In
addition, the poorest girls face the most barriers and
it gets worse at every level.

 Textbooks on Gender Equality
 Educational scenarios for primary and secondary schools

 Producing Open Educational Resources (OER)
 Using metadata standards (LOM application profile -> Interoperability ->
OER integrated repositories -> Open data: RELIEFH Portal)
 Improving Licensing culture: Copyright laws and exception use, fair use,
Creative Commons, Public domain)

Hiring developers to produce OER for GE:

Special Edition PILOT Incubator Project key stimulators & incentives 132 million girls between the ages of 6 and 17 were out of school in 2016, 15 million girls of primary school-age will never have the opportunity to learn to read, write and count, against approximately 10 million boys, 33% of girls do not complete primary education in sub-Saharan Africa, compared to 29% for boys. In addition, the poorest girls face the most barriers and it gets worse at every level.
