This document discusses workplace electric vehicle charging and overcoming challenges. It notes that 90% of NOx emissions in Southern California come from mobile sources. The California Air Resources Board has regulations to increase zero-emission vehicles which will require more workplace charging. The South Coast Air Quality Management District has rules encouraging ridesharing and electric vehicles to earn credits, with over 200 vehicles currently used for this. It also discusses the district's public charging infrastructure and an employee's experience commuting 12 miles each way in a plug-in hybrid.
