• Bear cost to build the robot instead of losing a human life
BASIC AIM
Our basic aim of project is to implement a multi
application oriented military robot by using the new
technology at a optimum cost
This is a novel attempt to integrate field robots and
IoT technologies at an expandable mode of design.
 Additional enhancement of the design made it an
outstanding choice for deployment and use in
dangerous zones infested with land mines and other
hazardous metallic item
The project is designed for
multipurpose robot for military application that
can be used for landmine detection, smoke
detection and temperature and humidity
monitoring. For this purpose the robot uses metal
detector which detects metals, smoke sensor
which detects smoke in case of any fire accidents
or bomb blast, temperature and humidity sensor
which provide actual humidity and temperature in
any given place. The robot can be handled
remotely through android phone.The android
phone(controller) and robot are interfaced through
Bluetooth module. The robot is integrated through
a microcontroller to operate robot as per the
android commands. The robot moves based on

INTRO OF SENSORS
A magnetic field (Fig. 1.) is produced
around a coil, because of passing
electric current through it.
 Metal detectors deal with the
principle of transmitting a magnetic
field and dissecting a return signal from
the objective and environment.
 The magnetic transmitter is a
transmit coil that produce a varying
electric current by transmit electronics.
The receiver is a coil that is connected
to receive and signal processing
electronics.
When alternating current goes through the
transmit coil present in a metallic object
interacts with the coil, it produces another
magnetic field around it.
 The transmitted magnetic field differs in
time, generally at rates of genuinely sharp
sound signals.
 This changing transmitted magnetic field
flows electric currents in metal objects and they
are called eddy currents.
 The metal detector has another coil in its
loop called receiver coil.
 The receiver coil identifies the changes in the
magnetic field that is caused due to presence of
the metallic object. An electromagnetic field is a
physical field produced by electrically charged
metal objects.
 This receiver coil sends signal to our aurdino

Adjust the potentiometer, let the
modules work normally.
Small and easy to use module.
It comes with a Buzzer for metal
detection indication.
DHT11 is a low-cost digital sensor for sensing temperature and
humidity. This sensor can be easily interfaced with any micro-
controller such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi etc… to measure
humidity and temperature instantaneously.
DHT11 sensor consists of a capacitive humidity sensing element
and a thermistor for sensing temperature.
 The humidity sensing capacitor has two electrodes with a
moisture holding substrate as a dielectric between them. Change in
the capacitance value occurs with the change in humidity levels.
The IC measure, process this changed resistance values and change
them into digital form.
For measuring temperature this sensor uses a Negative
Temperature coefficient thermistor, which causes a decrease in its
resistance value with increase in temperature. To get larger
resistance value even for the smallest change in temperature, this
sensor is usually made up of semiconductor ceramics or polymers.

MQ2 is one of the commonly used gas sensors in MQ
sensor series. It is a Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) type Gas
Sensor also known as Chemiresistors as the detection is based
upon change of resistance of the sensing material when the Gas
comes in contact with the material.
When tin dioxide (semiconductor
particles) is heated in air at high
temperature, oxygen is adsorbed
on the surface. In clean air, donor
electrons in tin dioxide are
attracted toward oxygen which is
adsorbed on the surface of the
sensing material. This prevents
electric current flow.
In the presence of reducing gases, the surface density of adsorbed
oxygen decreases as it reacts with the reducing gases. Electrons
are then released into the tin dioxide, allowing current to flow
freely through the sensor.

ADVANTAGES
Can do the most dangerous tasks instead of
the soldiers
Do not get tired, they do not need to sleep,
they do not know fear, they are tele-operated
Very cheap as compared to presently using
military robots
Can be controlled remotely by adding WIFI
module
Can be used as spy by including camera
can reduce civilian casualties
CONCLUSION
As an advancement of our basic military robot we can
also include the cameras, the video screens, the force
sensors and the special grippers, they can do the risky
jobs with these integrated systems, and they have
different shapes according to the purposes of each
robot.
They can also equipped with machine gun-like
features which make these medium-sized robots appear
to be a small army.
STATUS
TASKS ACCOMPLISHED AS OF NOW:
➢ Designing of carrying vehicle
➢ Developing an android app that facilitate remote controlling of
robot
➢ Practical implementation of remote controlling of robot
TASKS YET TO BE COMPLETED:
➢ Mounting the sensors on vehicle and implementation of robot as
a whole.
PROJECT STATUS: ONGOING
It is estimated that the entire project work(including
documentation) would be completed by the 1st week of July,2021.

IDEA OF PROJECT • Difficult Tasks – Walking through minefields – deactivating unexploded bombs – clearing out hostile buildings • Robots to do these jobs instead of humans • To operate in a relatively unstructured, natural environment • Replacing human in dangerous, dirty, or dull missions • Job of Soldier is not walk in the PARK • Bear cost to build the robot instead of losing a human life

BASIC AIM Our basic aim of project is to implement a multi application oriented military robot by using the new technology at a optimum cost This is a novel attempt to integrate field robots and IoT technologies at an expandable mode of design.  Additional enhancement of the design made it an outstanding choice for deployment and use in dangerous zones infested with land mines and other hazardous metallic item
  • 6. The project is designed for multipurpose robot for military application that can be used for landmine detection, smoke detection and temperature and humidity monitoring. For this purpose the robot uses metal detector which detects metals, smoke sensor which detects smoke in case of any fire accidents or bomb blast, temperature and humidity sensor which provide actual humidity and temperature in any given place. The robot can be handled remotely through android phone.The android phone(controller) and robot are interfaced through Bluetooth module. The robot is integrated through a microcontroller to operate robot as per the android commands. The robot moves based on

INTRO OF SENSORS A magnetic field (Fig. 1.) is produced around a coil, because of passing electric current through it.  Metal detectors deal with the principle of transmitting a magnetic field and dissecting a return signal from the objective and environment.  The magnetic transmitter is a transmit coil that produce a varying electric current by transmit electronics. The receiver is a coil that is connected to receive and signal processing electronics.
  • 15. When alternating current goes through the transmit coil present in a metallic object interacts with the coil, it produces another magnetic field around it.  The transmitted magnetic field differs in time, generally at rates of genuinely sharp sound signals.  This changing transmitted magnetic field flows electric currents in metal objects and they are called eddy currents.  The metal detector has another coil in its loop called receiver coil.  The receiver coil identifies the changes in the magnetic field that is caused due to presence of the metallic object. An electromagnetic field is a physical field produced by electrically charged metal objects.  This receiver coil sends signal to our aurdino

  • 17. DHT11 is a low-cost digital sensor for sensing temperature and humidity. This sensor can be easily interfaced with any micro- controller such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi etc… to measure humidity and temperature instantaneously. DHT11 sensor consists of a capacitive humidity sensing element and a thermistor for sensing temperature.  The humidity sensing capacitor has two electrodes with a moisture holding substrate as a dielectric between them. Change in the capacitance value occurs with the change in humidity levels. The IC measure, process this changed resistance values and change them into digital form.
  • 18. For measuring temperature this sensor uses a Negative Temperature coefficient thermistor, which causes a decrease in its resistance value with increase in temperature. To get larger resistance value even for the smallest change in temperature, this sensor is usually made up of semiconductor ceramics or polymers. Ultra low cost 3 to 5V power and I/O 2.5mA max current use during conversion (while requesting data) Good for 20-80% humidity readings with 5% accuracy Good for 0-50°C temperature readings ±2°C accuracy No more than 1 Hz sampling rate (once every second) Body size 15.5mm x 12mm x 5.5mm

  • 20. MQ2 is one of the commonly used gas sensors in MQ sensor series. It is a Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) type Gas Sensor also known as Chemiresistors as the detection is based upon change of resistance of the sensing material when the Gas comes in contact with the material. When tin dioxide (semiconductor particles) is heated in air at high temperature, oxygen is adsorbed on the surface. In clean air, donor electrons in tin dioxide are attracted toward oxygen which is adsorbed on the surface of the sensing material. This prevents electric current flow.
  • 21. In the presence of reducing gases, the surface density of adsorbed oxygen decreases as it reacts with the reducing gases. CONCLUSION As an advancement of our basic military robot we can also include the cameras, the video screens, the force sensors and the special grippers, they can do the risky jobs with these integrated systems, and they have different shapes according to the purposes of each robot. They can also equipped with machine gun-like features which make these medium-sized robots appear to be a small army.
