Students in high school have a very difficult time depicting the college or university
of their choice whether there are going to attend a Historical Black College or
University, Predominantly White School? As a future educator, I made a
commendable choice to attend an HBCU because they are still needed today for
successful individuals. Although some African Americans forget the journey that our
ancestors had to go through so we as African American can have a better education
from an accredited collegeor university. During the time period of slavery many
African Americans could not attend a PWI school because the color of their skin.

youth it also have played a key role in the education of African Americans in the state

A Prince, who is the ruler of a state, faces many challenges in holding power. He is
put to the test with the many choices made as a ruler. This includes choosing
whether to be loved or feared, and choosing if the conquered shall be ruined. In

successful ruler, a prince has to have public order based on the rules of morality. On
the other hand, in order to gain more power and keep power he has to break the

My First 12 Step Meeting
For posterity s sake, I tried to recall my first 12 step meeting and have concluded
that it was most likely the year 1996, it was cold in the little town of Altoona. The
clubhouse was strange, dark, smelled of coffee, and full of smoke there, the people
were all so different, but all of them seemed to know some secret code, plus they
seemed to talk as if reading bumper stickers. As I kept coming back, I began to feel
more comfortable, understand what was going on, and want what these people had.
People at these meetingswere open, appeared comfortable in their own skins, and had
such, dramatic, fascinating stories that were dark, yet somehow uplifting. Since that
time, I have been to a plethora of various types of meetings at various locations, but
there is a theme throughout of trust, and a bond of acceptance that makes one feel
welcome wherever one goes to a meeting. Therefore, I had a plan to go to Allentown

A Critical Analysis Of Little Shop Of Horrors
Not everyone loves musicals as much as others, but most people can recognize
when someone says FEED ME or DON T FEED THE PLANTS . The well known
musical Little Shop of Horrors took over the Dubois Little Theater this December
under the direction of Ms. Shannon McNutt. Little Shop of Horrors is a fun, musical
about a young botanical genius, Seymour Krelborn, his boss, and future foster father,
Mr. Mushnik, and the young, dramatic and attractive Audrey. Seymour was a shy
and sheltered man until he found a strange and interesting plant, which he named
Audrey Two after his one true love, Audrey. The musical follows Seymour as he
tries to get his sentient, bloodthirsty plant to grow so he can reap the benefits, but
his morals quickly catch up with him as he begins to lose everything that matters. I
believe that this show was worthwhile to see and be part of. While watching Little
Shop of Horrorsyou can tell that it has comedic elements, but it also is somewhat
dark and disturbing to watch Seymour s guilt and grief consume him. It is clearly a
dark comedy. This is made clear through many different aspects of the writing. The
show deals with murder, death, and world domination, but the characters are
always sure to throw in a funny line or stop for a quick song. Though I enjoyed

(Knickman Kovner, 2015). These determinants of health, known as population health
determinants generally include genetics, access to health care, individual behavior,
social determinant, physical environment (Knickman Kovner, 2015).
Determinant factors are fundamental to the prevention of disease, illness, and injury
because it illustrates health dispositions on why some individual or population are in
better health than another counterpart. HIV/AID is the population health issue I
selected. About 1.2 million of people in the United States are living with HIV
infection, and approximately 1 in 8 (12.8%) are unaware of their infection. HIV
/AIDS disproportionately affects racial and ethnic minorities, many of whom are
medically underserved. Our health status depends on how we live our daily lives,
how we interact with the environment in which we live, and our support systems
(Knickman Kovner, 2015).

The Pros And Cons Of Asymmetrical Warfare
Asymmetrical warfare is an appealing choice to those who may not have a military
force to use. This type of warfare is a murderous tactic and has become more
popular war tactic since the end of the cold world war. To resort to terror is not
always chosen because the enemy is more powerful. It can happen between two
great powers as the conflict becomes a total war and societies escalate against each
other cutting away civilized restraints. For example, in 1950s Strategic Air
Command targeteers would find ways to cause bonus damage by aiming blasts so
adjacent towns would be destroyed as well (Howard Hoffman, 2012). The goal here
was not to kill civilians per se, but to wreak havoc on the enemy s economy. This
type of strategic attackcan be hard to understand, but even states with legitimate
purposes have sometimes resorted to this strategy in order to revert to a single
standard which puts deliberate attacks against civilians beyond pale.
Primacy and asymmetrical warfare is also seen when the power is grossly
imbalanced. In these cases, using terror to coerce may seem like the only effective
way to force the weaker side. This leaves them with the choice to surrender or be
savage back. Radical Muslim zealots are a good example. They cannot compete with
American power or with conventional military means, so they substitute attacks on
high profile political targets to make the biggest impact (Howard Hoffman, 2012).

fortune that Judy s birthday was the day after Harry s, giving Tom the perfect
excuse (or so he told himself) to visit her after three and a half years of separation.
He carried a single red rose in his hand, a simple gift that was all he could afford
without asking Booker for money, and he loathed asking Booker for money. It had
taken a long time, but he was slowing finding his independence, and he refused to
take advantage of the man he loved. He knew it would take many more months of
therapy before he had the confidence to re enter the workforce, but he planned to
