Who are we?
MEH is a non profit (voluntary sector)
organisation based in Liverpool, UK,
acknowledged as a specialist agency with skills
in the direct delivery and commissioning of
services for people facing social exclusion.
As an infrastructure organisation, MEH works across
the region of Merseyside bringing together Merseyside
based voluntary, private and public sector agencies
to promote and generate multi agency and cross sector
working around key issues relevant to social
inclusion.
This is on a local, regional, national and European
level.
European projects
MEH has extensive experience in the
implementation, management and delivery of
EU projects within the EU Lifelong Learning
Programme, Youth in Action, Daphne, Erasmus
for Young Entrepreneurs and Erasmus+.

MEH is based inside the Joseph Lappin Centre in an
area of East Liverpool called Old Swan. This is a
community centre that comprises of 7 different
community organisations supporting youth,
disability, older members of the community,
minority groups, social enterprises through a range
of different activities and services.

research focussing on identities, stereotypes and
prejudices to identify positive identity strategies.

exploring artistic activities to enhance soft and hard skills
