Key Aims of the Project:
1. Develop awareness and skills among students for effective community action
2. Incorporate entrepreneurship, ICT and leadership and other transversal skills
3. Create effective learning pathways – especially for widening access students
4. Benchmark students’ social innovation activities within five institutions
5. Design a formalised transnational, extracurricular programme structure
6. Ensure a virtuous circle participants feeding back their knowledge and experience
into the programme

a degree.

The Project
• Quarter of the students we trained were from widening access backgrounds
(including minority groups based on gender, ethnicity, disability, nationality, faith, age,
sexuality; as well as students from low income and disadvantaged backgrounds)
• Travel/mobility process (essay/intention)
• Disability and Mental Health Services
• Campus/Student Advocacy groups (e.g. BME, LGBTQ+, mature student groups etc.)
• Event organisation and suppliers (e.g. Paragon, Social Bite)
