AIM: The Aim of the study is to assess the knowledge on migraine
among selected students of Rajiv Gandhi Memorial PG College, Joginder
Nagar, Himachal Pradesh.
OBJECTIVES:
1.To assess the pre existing knowledge regarding migraine among selected
students of Rajiv Gandhi Memorial PG College.
2.To develop and administered Structured Teaching Programme on knowledge
regarding migraine among selected students.
3.To determine the effectiveness of Structured Teaching Programme on
knowledge regarding migraine.
4.To find out the association of knowledge score regarding Migraine with
selected demographic variables.
NEED OF THE STUDY:
Limited research: There is a lack of research on the knowledge and attitudes of
college students regarding migraine.
Migraine prevalence: Migraine is a common neurological disorder affecting
approximately 1 billion people worldwide, with a high prevalence among college
students.
Gaps in health education: College students may not receive adequate education on
migraine, its symptoms, and management strategies.
Improved health outcomes: Enhancing college students' knowledge regarding
migraine can lead to improved health outcomes, including reduced migraine
frequency and severity.
Improved migraine management: This study's findings can lead to improved
