INTRODUCTION
 Menstrual cycle is necessary for human reproduction, the uterine lining
prepares itself to receive and nourish a fertilized egg. When fertilization
doesn’t happen, the lining sheds and this is menstruation. Most women attain
menarc heat the age of 14years, and continue having the until around the age
of 50years.
 The first step to conceive is learning about the changes in reproduction and
fertility and this means understanding the "epic story" of body and the various
hormonal fluctuations that occur during menstrual cycle. So it is important to
remember that most of the menstrual disorders will interfere with the future
fertility.
 Krushna Sone.et.al.(2023)The menstrual cycle is a series of natural
changes in hormone production and the structures of the uterus and
ovaries of the female reproductive system that make pregnancy
possible. The menstrual cycle can cause some women to experience
problems that disrupt daily lives. These can include cramps, tender
breasts, tiredness, and premenstrual syndrome. More severe problems
such as premenstrual dysphonic disorder are experienced by 3–8% of
women. The menstrual cycle can be modified by hormonal birth control
[1].
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
 A study to assess the effectiveness of video assisted teaching on
knowledge regarding menstrual disorders and its effect on
conception among students of selected colleges, Gwalior, M.P.
OBJECTIVES
 To assess the pre intervention knowledge regarding menstrual disorders and
its effect on conception among students of selected colleges, Gwalior, M.P.
 To assess the post intervention knowledge regarding menstrual disorders and
its effect on conception among students of selected colleges, Gwalior, M.P.
 To compare the pre-test and post-test knowledge score regarding menstrual
disorders and its effect on conception among students of selected colleges,
Gwalior, M.P.
 To find out association between pre-test knowledge score regarding menstrual
disorders and its effect on conception with selected demographic variables.
HYPOTHESIS
 H1: There will be a significant difference between pre-test and post-
test knowledge score regarding menstrual disorders and its effect on
conception among students of selected colleges at 0.05 level of
significance.
 H2: There will be a significant association between the pre-test
knowledge regarding menstrual disorders and its effect on conception
with selected demographic variables at 0.05 level of significance.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
 RESEARCH APPROACH
Evaluative Research approach will be used in this study
 RESEARCH DESIGN
Pre experimental one group pre-test post-test research design will be use.

conduct the study
STEP II: selection of sample from the students, studying in selected college in Gwalior M.P.
STEP III: - The investigator will obtain the informed written consent from participants.
STEP IV: To assess the pre intervention knowledge through structure questionnaire on knowledge regarding
menstrual disorders and its effect on conception of participants.
STEP V: Administering the structured teaching programme regarding menstrual disorders and its effect on
conception to participants.
STEP VI: Conducting the post-test to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on
knowledge regarding menstrual disorders and its effect on conception of participants.
STEP VII: Analysis of collected data and interpretation
DATAANALYSIS METHOD
The data analysis will be done using descriptive and inferential statistics.
Descriptive statistics
• Frequency, percentage, mean, median, standard deviation will be use to describe demographic
variables and to interpret knowledge scores.
