parity, occupation, duration of working hours,
duration of maternity leave and type of family).
HYPOTHESIS
The following hypothesis will be tested at ≤0.05
level of significance
H1: There will be a significant difference between
pre test and post test level of knowledge on
expressed and storage of breast milk among working
mothers after receiving video assisted teaching
program.
H2: There will be a significant association between
pre-test level of knowledge of working mothers with
selected demographic variables.

selected socio- demographic variables (Age,
socio-economic status, parental education.)
HYPOTHESIS
The following hypothesis will be tested at ≤0.05
level of significance
H1 : There will be significant difference between
the pre test and post test knowledge scores
regarding the tonsillitis among middle school
children.
H2 : There will be significant association between
the level of knowledge and the selected socio-
demographic variables.
4. A pre-experimental study to assess the
effectiveness of video assisted teaching on
knowledge and practice among staff nurses
regarding prevention of sepsis in neonates
admitted in neonatal intensive care unit of
GB pant hospital Srinagar.
OBJECTIVES

prevention of sepsis in neonates admitted in
neonatal intensive care unit
3. To evaluate the effectiveness of video assisted
teaching programme on knowledge and practice
among staff nurses regarding prevention of sepsis
in neonates admitted in neonatal intensive care
unit.
4. To determine the association of knowledge and
practice among staff nurses regarding prevention
of sepsis in neonates admitted in neonatal
intensive care unit.
5. To determine the association of knowledge and
practice among staff nurses with their selected
demographic variables (Age, Sex, marital status,
Professional Education, Experience and In-service
education)
HYPOTHESIS
The following hypothesis will be tested at ≤0.05 level
of significance
H1 : There will be significant relationship between the
knowledge and practice regarding sepsis among staff
nurses in neonates admitted in neonatal intensive
care.
H2: The mean post-test knowledge score of staff
nurses after the administration of video assisted
teaching programme will be higher than the mean pre-
test knowledge score.
5. A study to assess the effectiveness of self
instructional module on knowledge
regarding management of sibling rivalry
among mothers of under five children

HYPOTHESIS
The following hypothesis will be tested at ≤0.05 level
of significance
H1: The mean post test knowledge score will be
significantly higher than the mean pre-test knowledge
score.
H2: There will be significant relationship between
pre-test knowledge score and selected demographic
variable of the mother.
