We chose a cinema verite style over direct cinema to allow interviews. The documentary had expositional and performative modes using interviews.
Shots included interviews, footage of riots, and b-roll. Transitions like cuts, fades, and dips were used. Sound mixing balanced voiceover, music, and interviews.
The documentary was evaluated against conventions like those in "Supersize Me" with on-the-street interviews and professional interviews. A magazine spread and radio trailer also followed conventions
