Attract/Address Your
Audience?

     Based on audience research, we ensured that we had an
      interesting storyline and interesting characters that were
      plausible and realistic.
     Thriller films are traditionally tense and gripping which we
      attempted to convey during the final scene. The connotation
      of the dark being scary helped exude tension

   Thrillers traditionally have elements of mystery in the
    opening scenes which acts as a hook for the audience.
   In terms of Mise En Scene, we wanted a location that
    projected the idea of danger; the darkness, the fact that
    it is hidden and the graffiti are all elements associated
    with danger and crime

Audience?

   Camerawork was important, the shots where
    James walks down the street were composed to
    look as if he was being watched.
   The Trigger Street Productions contained an
    ideology of violence which was a foreshadowing
    technique for the ending of the opening
    sequence.

   We posted a link on YouTube in the hope that
    feedback would come bursting through, sadly
    the only received feedback was from family
    members whom were inevitably biast.
   Considering viral marketing and technological
    determinism, we created a Facebook and Twitter
    page to further advertise The Meeting.

Audience?


     To improve, we would have managed
      our time better so that we could extend
      the viral marketing campaign and create
      a ‘Missing’ poster for James, enhancing
      the realism of the film.
