How does your product use or
challenge conventions and
how does it represent social
groups or issue?
 As the genre of our film ‘Champagne’ is Murder
Mystery so we made sure that the suspense factor
and the thrill factor both were taken into
consideration while taking the shots, lighting
arrangement, editing and also using the
soundtracks to keep the audience glued to what we
wanted to create .
 The theme itself leaves the message for the young
adults of today's generation that don’t get too
involved in the lap of luxury, so much so that you
forget the values of relationship, trustworthiness,
honesty.
 We chose Murder Mystery as our genre as it
fictionalizes crimes, their detection , criminals and
their motives also you get a chance to understand
the psychology and the mindset of the criminals.
2 examples of a Murder Mystery are –
Mentalist, which is a television show that
shows how the body language and the
situation and your mentality can be ready to
solve the crimes.
Psycho is a 1960 American Murder Mystery film directed by Alfred
Hitchcock
How does your product engage with
audiences and how would it be
distributed as a real media text?
 As a real media product, I would want my film to be
distributed worldwide
 For example Warner Bros. It is a major film studio.
 It has other multiple subsidiaries, including New
Line Cinema, HBO, Turner Broadcasting System
and The CW Television Network.
 I would advertise my media product by a number of
different media platforms
 Our target audience are young adults
How do the elements of your
production work together to
create a sense of ‘branding’?
 The process involved in creating a unique
name and image for a product in
the consumers' mind, mainly
through advertising campaigns with
a consistent theme.
 We used the poster on our website showing
champagne, to make a branding of it.
 The costumes were used and their essence
in fashion
How did you integrate
technologies-software, hardware
and online-in this project?
 We had used Nikon D3200 for our shooting .
 D3200 has a longer battery life. It takes about 540
shots, without flash.
 We used Tumblr for creating our blogs
 I had used YouTube to know more about the
camera .
 I used godaddy.com to get our domain name.
 We used a website builder to create our website
 For the trailers sound mixing was used.
 The poster was done just as similar as the trailer.
Research then implementation and then editing
 Online technologies were used in the formation of
the website .
