It is difficult to maintain the sterility and It is more difficult to investigate when the status is Non sterile. So this ppt narrate the way for you to investigate the Non sterility.
Aseptic Technique
The media on which you culture desirable microorganisms will readily grow undesirable contaminants, especially molds and other types of fungus, and bacteria from your skin and hair. It is therefore essential that you protect your cultures from contamination from airborne spores and living microorganisms, surface contaminants that may be on your instruments, and from skin contact.
Bacteria and other contaminants cannot fly. Nearly all forms of contamination are carried on microscopic dust particles that make their way onto sterile surfaces when they are carelessly handled. One exception is insect contamination, such as by ants for fruit flies. Fruit flies are a particular nuisance because they can crawl under the lids of agar plates and lay eggs. You would think that people doing genetics research would have developed a model by now that can't fly into other peoples' experiments!
A contaminated culture can often be rescued, however there is always the risk that you will re-isolate the wrong microorganism. Besides, you don't have that kind of time to waste. Exercise extreme care to keep your cultures pure.
Does a company really need a head office? The new organizational structure of the 21st century is the network, not the hierarchy. And the focus of management should be on leadership, not governance. But how can you organize this?
Happy Melly is a company built as a network of entities, connected through a Constitution, with regular gatherings on Skype. The network is led by a CEO who can be voted out any time. The only way for him to stay on top is to keep everyone’s trust. Every day.
Automatic Cradle System with Measurement of Baby’s Vital Biological Parametersdbpublications
There is a need to develop a new low cost indigenous electronic cradle because the existing cradles are imported and costly. This paper presents the design and implementation of a new indigenous low cost E-Baby Cradle that swings automatically when baby cries, for this it has a cry analysing system which detects the baby cry voice and accordingly the cradle swings till the baby stops crying. The speed of the cradle can be controlled as per the user need. The system has inbuilt alarm that indicates the condition –when baby does not stop crying with in a stipulated time, which intimated that baby needs attention. This system helps parents and nurses to take care of babies without physical attention by already recorded voice input to FN-M16P model and at this same time Cradle also moves according to the user need.

Slide 1: Title: EMERGING PEDIATRIC TECHNOLOGIES
By: Falakaara Saiyed
This presentation is about inventions in pediatric technologies.
Slide 2: Introduction
Children require specialized, compassionate and comprehensive care that supports every stage of their lives.
Innovation will help health care providers improve their care of pediatric patients
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recognized the need for medical devices for the pediatric population and is responding with initiatives that support the development of safe and effective pediatric medical devices.
Slide 3: New innovative technology in the pediatric pipeline
Caring for the pediatric patient population — whether neonate, infant, child or adolescent — is complex.
FDA has implemented initiatives to increase the availability of pediatric medical devices, including identifying barriers to the development of pediatric devices and incorporating known information about other populations to support labeling of existing devices for pediatric indications.
As a result, new products indicated for pediatric patients will continue to be released and physician and patient awareness of the availability of these products will increase, leading to greater penetration of pediatric devices and driving market growth.

WIRELESS HUMAN TEMPERATURE MONITORING SYSTEM is an excellent solution to sense the four major aspects of the present world that is heartbeat, blood pressure, smoke, temperature and alcohol. The application has described a monitoring system based on Zigebee technology, cooperating with software positioning, which contains a communication platform with wireless monitoring function.
The user can simply use the device to calculate is BP, smoke and alcohol consumption and can monitor his temperature in real time, which provides the technical foundation for the development of wireless network system.
This system is controlled by a Zigbee application where the user can create logs of the records or values; the system calculates the values by sensors and transmits the value to the database for storage. On change of position within 1000 meters would not affect the transmission or receiving the signals.
Thus the user and the caretaker can have a better result to verify and give a better solution to the problem.

Measurement of GHT Glucose, Heart Rate, Temperature Using Non Invasive Methodijtsrd
"The medical field has been emerged in the various sectors but the current blood glucose monitoring BGM are invasive as they require a finger prick blood sample, a repetitively painful process that creates the risk of infection. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been invested in companies who have sought the solution to this long standing problem. Approaches that have been tried include near infrared spectroscopy measuring glucose through the skin using light of slightly longer wavelengths than the visible region , measuring the amount that polarized light is rotated by glucose in the front chamber of the eye containing the aqueous humor ,and many others. This device provide a solution by interfacing a electronic device that has the capability of monitoring the glucose level, heart rate and temperature using non invasive method which has less risk factors. This is a continuous monitoring device. So it helps to prevent the organ losses due to the low and high level of glucose, heart rate, temperature. Kailash. S | Karthick Raja. A | Mahesh. New Directions in Targeted Therapeutic Approaches for Older Adults With Mantl...i3 Health
i3 Health is pleased to make the speaker slides from this activity available for use as a non-accredited self-study or teaching resource.
This slide deck presented by Dr. Kami Maddocks, Professor-Clinical in the Division of Hematology and
Associate Division Director for Ambulatory Operations
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, will provide insight into new directions in targeted therapeutic approaches for older adults with mantle cell lymphoma.
STATEMENT OF NEED
Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare, aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) accounting for 5% to 7% of all lymphomas. Its prognosis ranges from indolent disease that does not require treatment for years to very aggressive disease, which is associated with poor survival (Silkenstedt et al, 2021). Typically, MCL is diagnosed at advanced stage and in older patients who cannot tolerate intensive therapy (NCCN, 2022). Although recent advances have slightly increased remission rates, recurrence and relapse remain very common, leading to a median overall survival between 3 and 6 years (LLS, 2021). Though there are several effective options, progress is still needed towards establishing an accepted frontline approach for MCL (Castellino et al, 2022). Treatment selection and management of MCL are complicated by the heterogeneity of prognosis, advanced age and comorbidities of patients, and lack of an established standard approach for treatment, making it vital that clinicians be familiar with the latest research and advances in this area. In this activity chaired by Michael Wang, MD, Professor in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at MD Anderson Cancer Center, expert faculty will discuss prognostic factors informing treatment, the promising results of recent trials in new therapeutic approaches, and the implications of treatment resistance in therapeutic selection for MCL.
Target Audience
Hematology/oncology fellows, attending faculty, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
Learning Objectives
1.) Identify clinical and biological prognostic factors that can guide treatment decision making for older adults with MCL
2.) Evaluate emerging data on targeted therapeutic approaches for treatment-naive and relapsed/refractory MCL and their applicability to older adults
3.) Assess mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies for MCL and their implications for treatment selection

Ethanol (CH3CH2OH), or beverage alcohol, is a two-carbon alcohol
that is rapidly distributed in the body and brain. Ethanol alters many
neurochemical systems and has rewarding and addictive properties. It
is the oldest recreational drug and likely contributes to more morbidity,
mortality, and public health costs than all illicit drugs combined. The
5th edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
(DSM-5) integrates alcohol abuse and alcohol dependence into a single
disorder called alcohol use disorder (AUD), with mild, moderate,
and severe subclassifications (American Psychiatric Association, 2013).
In the DSM-5, all types of substance abuse and dependence have been
combined into a single substance use disorder (SUD) on a continuum
from mild to severe. A diagnosis of AUD requires that at least two of
the 11 DSM-5 behaviors be present within a 12-month period (mild
AUD: 2–3 criteria; moderate AUD: 4–5 criteria; severe AUD: 6–11 criteria).
The four main behavioral effects of AUD are impaired control over
drinking, negative social consequences, risky use, and altered physiological
effects (tolerance, withdrawal). This chapter presents an overview
of the prevalence and harmful consequences of AUD in the U.S.,
the systemic nature of the disease, neurocircuitry and stages of AUD,
comorbidities, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, genetic risk factors, and
pharmacotherapies for AUD.

8. SMART INSULIN PATCHES
Smart insulin patch can detect increased blood sugar levels
and secrete doses of insulin into the bloodstream whenever
needed.
The patch – a thin square no bigger than a penny – is covered
with more than 100 tiny needles, each about the size of an eyelash.
The microneedles are packed with microscopic storage units
for insulin and glucose-sensing enzymes that rapidly release their
cargo when blood sugar levels get too high.
1/3/2017 8
9. when blood sugar levels increase, the excess glucose crowded into the artificial
vesicles.
The enzymes then convert the glucose into gluconic acid, consuming oxygen all the
while.
The resulting lack of oxygen or hypoxia made the hydrophobic NI (Nitroimidazole)
molecules turn hydrophilic, causing the vesicles to rapidly fall apart and send insulin into
the bloodstream.
