Terrorism is like a virus in the global world. Everyone has a responsibility to eradicate terrorism.
Terrorists has no social responsibility, they can create violence in the world and brings war between
countries in the world. Social consciousness, Global rules, Regulations and Economy could make
change in stopping terrorism and it should be eradicated by people who see future would be without
virus and healthy.
First and foremost, the anger is hardly surprising. the terrorist event in our recent history is a reminder
of high drama and often tragedy that have seized the attention and fanned the fears of public.

the enemy . This intrusion of American elements replaces not only Chinese elements, but also the
Vietnamese cultural identity.
Contemporary culture, however, plays a different role. As current contemporary movies, music, visual
arts and other entertainment forms produced by Vietnamese resolve around the Vietnamese national
cultural identity , which almost always incorporates Chinese elements or Chinese influence in some
ways: in its language, practiced customs, art motifs, etc., as addressed. Vietnam s contemporary
culture, in this condition, has the same low probability of dividing between the Chinese elements and
quintessentially Vietnamese . However, in reality, the concept of Vietnamese contemporary culture
does not only include productions by Vietnamese people. As the Vietnamese community reacts and
corresponds to foreign cultural productions as engagingly as they do with Vietnamese produced goods,
this country s contemporary culture encompasses these alien productions. In this context, culture is
more easily categorizable. Additionally, making the first step in protesting with contemporary culture
is a logical movement. Unlike other goods exchangeable economically, which can be manipulated to
present as if from a different origin, Chinese contemporary cultural productions take significantly
distinct forms. As they are very distinguishable the use of Mandarin s often a giveaway differentiation
of Chinese media and entertainment production becomes the simplest,

4. IoT DATA FLOW ARCHITECTURE FOR WoT While the customary programs are regularly
represented as a progression of direction composed utilizing content and concentrating on the
operations that are to be executed, data flow programs loan themselves to a visual portrayal where
nodes serve as data sources of info, output and capacities are associated with circular segments that
characterize the data flow between segments as showed in figure 2. Since these operations are
independent, they can be effortlessly re utilized and created in other programme. The dataflow
semantics of VDFPLs can be more natural for non developers. Node RED is an online programming
device for wiring together equipment gadgets and APIs. It likewise gives a program based flow
supervisor that makes it simple to wire together flows utilizing the extensive variety of nodes in the
pallet that can be conveyed to its run time with a solitary click. Java Script can be made within the
editor using the Node.js framework. A built in library allows you to save useful functions, templates or
flows for reuse. In Node RED data flow programs are called flows consisting of nodes connected by
wires. Like the WoTKit Processor, which is a multi user service bundled with the WoTKit platform

Deadly Force Misconceptions
On common misconception that many in the public have is that deadly force always means excessive
force (Miller, 2015). In reality, necessary force is the amount of force required to control a given
situation so as to preserve the life and maintain the safety of police officers or vulnerable citizens at
the scene excessive force is any use of force beyond that required for safety and control (Miller, 2015,
par. 2). Is this misconception, lawyers searching out family members, valid reasons, or something else
why so many lawsuits are being filed after police deadly force encounters. No one will probably ever
know the true reason. I will give two examples of deadly force from the Knoxville Police Department,
my agency for the last 19 years, and show that there is no known why so many are filed. When I was a
Patrol Sergeant in October of 2006, my officers were in a vehicle pursuit of a carjacking suspect, who
had pistol whipped the victim. By policy, we only had two cars involved in the pursuit. About halfway
into the pursuit, the suspect swerved and struck an ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Based on the circumstances in today s world, which officer would one guess was sued? Most would
pick wrong as I had built such a good relationship with the African American community that they
knew I had done no wrong. The suspect s son in the second incident filed suit against the city and
officer even though he had not contact with his father for over 17 years. It looks like a lawyer hunted
this relative down to make some money. Hopefully this will not happen again as last year the United
States Supreme Court gave broader immunity to police in deadly force issues (Savage, 2015). Police
officers cannot let the fear of being sued keep them from doing their jobs. If they do, they may lose

Cardiovascular Disease Study Guide
Vascular Disease Summary
The cardiovascular disease defines conditions that affect the heart or blood vessels. Thrombosis,
which emanates from blood clots, reduced blood flow to the heart, brain and the rest of the body.
When fatty acids deposit in the artery, it hardens and narrows. These issues lead to stroke, coronary
heart disease, aortic disease and peripheral arterial disease. Coronary heart disease occurs due to a
reduced or blocked flow of oxygen rich blood to the heart. It is a result of accumulated fats in the
coronary arteries. Coronary arteries are a set of blood vessels that take blood to the heart. When they
become narrow, the heart gets less of a supply of blood and oxygen causing chest pains, called angina
or a heart attack, explains VanMeter ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Based in Australia, it identifies several of the challenges that affect the health of women based on
public health. The policy targets chronic diseases like heart diseases. It targets women because of the
influence that they have in the society. It deals with the prevention of chronic illness, healthy aging,
reproductive and sexual welfare, mental health and well being. The policy points out overall general
points concerning heart disease. It recognizes it as the leading killer and an enormous burden on
women. Age is a risk factor that the heart and stroke association highlights. 82 percent of deaths from
cardiovascular diseases occur among people aged 65 and above. Although, more men, than women,
stand higher risks of heart disease, the risk increases in women once they hit menopause. Other risky
activities that these policies indicate are the lack of physical exercise, the use of tobacco and a poor
diet. Morris Jerry was the first to conduct a study of cardiovascular disease, in 1949, and used
occupational health data. It gave a basis for research on more information about cardiovascular

Theme Of Patriotism In Swades
Swades means one s own country . This film depicts the journey of a Non Resident of India (NRI)
back to his Swades , India. It begins by introducing Mohan Bhargava, an Indian living and working in
America. He feels guilty for neglecting Kaveriamma, his caring nanny, and sets off to India to find
her. Mohan learns that she had been taken away to a village called Charanpur. He finds Kaveriamma
there, living with Gita, his childhood friend. As the story progresses, Mohan adapts to life in the
village and grows closer to the villagers. At the same time, he encounters some of the harsher aspects
of the village. Although Mohan tries to solve some of these problems, he never fully feels a sense of
responsibility for his actions. However, after his ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

own little ways. Overall, there are many instances where patriotic feeling is stirred and the Indian
national identity is strengthened. Unlike other Bollywood films like Mangal Pandey or Heroes which

Confederate Army Trends
One of the major trends that developed during the American Civil war was the number of casualties on
both the Confederate and Union side. Although many of the battles were unique, at times the
Confederate army would strike a devastating blow such as the first major battle at Mannass or Bull
Run where the Confederate Army defeated the Union army who had superior numbers (Hewitt
Lawson, 2017). One thing the Union army had that gave them an advantage over the Confederate
army was the enlistment of former slaves to join the Union army. After one battle, in particular,
General Grant stated I saw an open field . . . so covered with dead that it would have been possible to
walk across the clearing, in any direction, stepping only on dead bodies ... Show more content on

Another trend evident in the Civil war was the reason for fighting the war. Both the Confederate and
Union army soldiers had their own unique reasons for fighting the war. The Confederate soldiers had a
strong martial will to fight and defend the ways of the South (Farmer, 2005). This attitude was strong
in the beginning and as the war endured, many had become less enthusiastic about the war effort but
remained loyal to the cause and war (Faust, 1990). Some of the Confederate soldiers would actually
return home prompted by the women back home who had become disillusioned with the war effort
(Spiegel, 1863) and stopped proving support to the war effort. The Confederacy did not lose the war
due to lack of effort, it was merely due to the superior strength of the Union army (Farmer, 2005). The
Union Soldiers, on the other hand, were fighting to preserve the union. It was not to abolish slavery
and in fact became disgruntled after President Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation and the
soldiers had to be reprimanded by Union Officers (Landers, 1861 1863). Union Leaders were afraid
the strategy of freeing the slaves would hurt the Union soldier s morale, as they were not in favor of
fighting a war to help free the African Americans

What Is The Mood Of The Tower Of Babel
The Tower of Babel found in Genesis 11:1 9 tells the story of humanity s movement eastward and
settling in the region of Babylon; where at that time, all the people spoke the same language. What
unfolds is their quest to build a tower that would extend high into the heavens in order to make their
name great and keep them from being scattered all over the earth. Also, the people s ingenuity is
highlighted with the process of baking bricks rather than using traditional stone. As they are building,
the LORD comes down, and views their effort as a problem; in which he proceeds to confuse their
language and scatter them all over the face of the earth. Through this short narrative, the author
communicates a profound transition between the depravity ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

First of which, Gary Schnittjer says, The human race defied God s instruction to multiply and fill the
earth because they wanted to make a name for themselves (Schnittjer 1737). God has always been a
sending God. He instructed Adam and Eve to fill the earth. He called Abraham to go to the land he
would show him so that he could be a blessing to all nations. Jesus told the disciples to wait in
Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit came on them, and then they would be his witness to the ends of the
earth. Yet in the early church, what unfolds is mini Babel building. The disciples stay in Jerusalem,
perhaps not to make their name great, but they are not fulfilling God s command to go and bless.
Therefore, persecution breaks out. What can be learned from Genesis 11 and the rest of the Bible, is
the church today must give attention going and blessing rather than codling and tower building. The
church is to be sent into every neighborhood with the good news of the Gospel, rather than only care
for themselves. God s mandate has never changed since Genesis

The Thief In J. R. Tolkien s The Lord Of The Rings
I will be applying this criteria to Gandalf, a wizard in the series The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R
Tolkien. Despite not having wounds in his hands, feet, side and head Gandalf did sacrifice himself for
the good of his friends when he battled Balrog, a fire demon, ultimately perishing but later rising from
the dead as a pure white wizard rather than his previous gray form. Furthermore, Gandalf is good with
children as he not only is in charge of 4 children throughout his journey but he is also known amongst
other smaller children as the wizard with fireworks and great stories. Gandalf is always seen on
horseback or on foot through his travels and despite not being able to walk on water he continuously
used his wizard like power to perform miracles.

Raphael s Influence
Most artists have a dark history that have inspired them to create beautiful artwork, however Raphael
Sanzio De Urbino had a very successful social life along with creating well known classical artwork.
Raphael s artwork included many different elements of art, including triangles, diversity and rule of
thirds. Raphael is an Italian artist from the early 1500 s and has changed his style multiple times, due
to the influence of Petro Perugio. Considering all of the upcoming artists like Leonardo Da Vinci and
Michelangelo, he eventually developed his own style and stuck to it . A few of Raphael s most famous
artwork is, The School of Athens, The Transfiguration, Sistine Madonna, and The Marriage of the
Virgin. Since Raphael didn t have a dark or un lightening influence to produce happy artwork his main
motivation being that his father was a painter and taught him all of the basics he knows.

A few very noticeable elements would be triangles, variety, and rule of thirds. In his piece the School
of Athens, he places the people that have a greater importance on the intersecting lines when you are
trying to see the rule of thirds. While this piece represents a philosophy, the main two characters
Aristotle, and plato are seen conversing in the center of the piece. When you look at The
Transfiguration piece also by Raphael, it greatly shoes the triangle made by the three angles. This
piece actually represents the transfiguration of christ on Mount tabor. Variety is shown through the
color of all of his work, but another one of his famous series Sistine Madonna, variety is shown
through the different ages of people. There are many more elements that he has enfolded throughout
his art but he often entails these three

When Mrs. Cook arrived to the surgical unit she is complaining of moderate to severe pain. Laura, her
registered nurse, medicated Mrs. Cook and oriented her to her room. After 30 minutes, Laura decided
the patient is comfortable and awake enough to teach her how to use the incentive spirometer. Laura
explained to Mrs. Cook that using the incentive spirometer will help open up her lungs so that she
does not develop complications such as pneumonia causing a longer stay in the hospital. It also
provides her body with oxygen which promotes healing and helps to clear her lungs and body from the
anesthesia. Laura informed Mrs. Cook that her doctor has ordered her to do these breathing exercises
10 times every hour while awake. Mrs. Cook followed Laura s instruction and made a tight seal
around the mouth piece. She took a couple of small quick inhalations which barely registered on the
incentive spirometer but did stimulate a cough. Naturally, the cough caused severe pain to her

Aversive Effects of Ethanol in Adolescent vs. Adult Rats
Researchers Nicole L. Schramm Sapyta, Alexandra
DiFeliceantonio, and Cynthia M. Kuhn (2010), conducted
the study of Aversive Effects of Ethanol in
Adolescent vs. Adult Rats , looking to address two key
questions: Number one, do reduced aversive effects of
ethanol in younger rats correlate with increased
ethanol consumption? and second, are the reduced
aversive effects in adolescents attributable to
reduced sensitivity to ethanol s physiological
effects?
A sample of adolescent and adult male CD rats (outbred
Sprague Dawley derived strain) were obtained from
Charles River Laboratories (Raleigh, NC), and
maintained in a temperature vivarium standard of 12:12
light dark cycle throughout the experiement. Before
the experiment could begin, it was vital to find out
which of the 94 rats formed a conditioned taste for
ethanol, this was achieved with aversion therapy
whereby the rats were deprived of water for 24 hours,
and then given 15 minute acccess to a water bottle the
next day, this was then repeated but the water was
replaced with 0.2% saccharin solution and also
injected with ethanol. After another water deprived 24
hours, the rats had access to two bottles, one
containing water and the other with 0.2% saccharin
solution. The dependent measure was the percent of
saccharin consumption on the test day thus the rats
that consumed less than 1ml of total solution were
excluded from the experiemnt, leaving the researchers

Comparison Of Alexander Pushkin And Robert Frost
Therese Youso
ENG 312: Lyric Poetry
Sr. Mary Dominic, O.P.
April 28, 2015
Alexander Pushkin and Robert Frost both have written poems about autumn. There is a correlation
between these two poems since they share many romantic features. Autumn and After Apple Picking
are both alike and different in many ways. Alexander Pushkin was born in Moscow, Russia and lived
from 1799 until 1837. He wrote from a very young age, not only writing poetry, but also dramas and
novels. He died in a duel when he was 39 years old. Autumn is a poem that contains many of the
elements of romanticism. The first quality is feelings. This whole poem oozes the feelings of Pushkin.
The first line is October comes at last. The feeling of relief is obvious, and there is a sense of an event
finally coming. It is as if his patience was being tested and wearing thin. He could hardly wait for
autumn. In the second stanza he writes, This is my time! What is the spring to me? Spring makes me
ill: my mind is never free from dizzy dreams, my blood s in constant ferment. He clearly does not like
the spring season at all. It is boring and there is a tone of disgust. He compares the fun and excitement
of winter. There is definitely a large range between the way he feels about what spring brings and
what winter brings. Winter is almost bearable to Pushkin. Winter is fun. He enjoys the activities and
cold weather of the winter. In stanza four, he writes, O, summer fair! I would have loved you too,

Analysis Of The Book Jack The Ripper
The Complete Jack the Ripper By: Donald Rumblelow
Publisher: New York Graphic Society, Year: 1975, Pages: 217
This book is about the history of Jack the Ripper, it s about his life and how he killed. It also talks
about his life in the Whitechapel district was.
This book is about how he killed and what Jack the Ripper did, it tells about his life and what
happened (This book is out dated because we have discovered more since 1975). It also shows lots of
pictures, they weren t very good pictures but they were there. The book shows most things he did. He
killed at least 5 prostitutes and took apart their bodies. This terrorized the Whitechapel district, he did
this from August 7th to September 10th in 1888. It s a mystery on how he died according to the book,
but keep in mind the book is outdated.
It s a decent book but I didn t find it very interesting, it started out very slow but picked up during the
middle of it. I also didn t understand as much as I wanted too. I could understand how people like the
book though because of what it is. Jack the Ripper and the mystery behind him makes him interesting
just not my thing. Its successful because it was one of the best written books about him of this time,
and could be used to study on him. It s also successful because of this reason, a lot of people have
probably done a book report or a report in general on him and gained interest for him.

How Do Open Source Benefit Suites Contrast With Office...
How do open source benefit suites contrast with Office 2013 and does it bode well for your

Microsoft? We think about three toolsets on logic, value, and gimmicks to help you choose...
For quite a while, philanthropic associations had a decision of two office benefit suites: Microsoft
Office and Microsoft Office. The prevailing business offering, Office in the long run yielded some
notoriety when a feasible open source contender, Openoffice, rose, took after by an alternate open
source alternative, Libreoffice.
How do these open source suites vary from Microsoft Office? Should your office consider one of
them, and will they bode well for your clients and framework?
To help you choose, we looked at key peculiarities of the most recent form of Microsoft s suite, the
Office 2013 Professional release, to Apache Openoffice 4.0 and Libreoffice 4.1, both discharged in
July 2013. Both open source suites offer an instrument called Base that is like Microsoft Access, an

The Causes And Dangers Of Cyber Bullying And Cyber...
The younger generation is always on their phones and it has decreased their skill of communication
which is a must need for the business world. In fact the Pew Research Center had found that 88% of
people ages 18 29 use Facebook in 2016. That is a lot of people which can lead to some problems as
mentioned before.
One growing issue is cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is when someone threatens, makes fun of, or posts
offencive pictures/words with the intention to hurt others over electronic communication. About half
of young people have experienced some form of cyberbullying, and 10 to 20 percent experience it
regularly said Bullying Statistics, Cyber bullying victims are more likely to have low self esteem and
to consider suicide . Also more than 50% of cyberbully victims don t say anything to their parents or
any other adults witch makes the situation even worse. This is a serious issue that goes along with
social networking. The next issue is bots. Bots are a computer program that are created to do a task
automatically. What that task may be depends on the type of bot, and unfortunately for us there are
more bad bots than there are good. An prime example of a bad bot is the bot designed to infect your
computer through downloads and ads. When the bot has been downloaded it can steal personal
information, make you pay a ransom for your information back, and can even make your computer
send out spam mail. There are million of bots in use right now and they are incredibly

The Powerful Use Of Abuse In Sweat By Zora Neale Hurston
Sweat Looka heah, Sykes, you done gone too fur. Ah been married to you fur fifteen years, and Ah
been takin in washin for fifteen years. Sweat, sweat, sweat! Work and sweat, cry and sweat, pray and
sweat! Does living with abuse help you gain the strength to become a stronger woman? Also, when
does enough become enough? Such a quote is found in Zora Neale Hurston s short story, Sweat . This
quote expresses the discussion theme better than any story that has ever been told before about abuse
that is endured during a relationship. This quote helped me realize many different things that women
tend to go through in a relationship. A lot of times women take abuse, whether it is physical, mental or
emotional abuse. Society also tends to put women in a category that is beneath a man, which may give
a man the thought of him having power over women, but in actual reality this is called abuse. The
definition of abuse is the improper use of something, and that is exactly what is happening to Delia in
Sweat .
Zora Neale Hurston was considered one of the pre eminent writers of twentieth century African
American literature. Hurston was closely associated with the Harlem Renaissance. She has also
influenced writers such as Ralph Ellison, Toni Morrison, Gayle Jones, Alice Walker, and Toni Cade
Bambara. Looking at her work, it can be found to be read as a work of feminist fiction, but it is not
why you would think it would be. The quote also possess that the character is faced with

The Life of Ernest Hemingway
On July 21, 1899 Ernest Miller Hemingway was born in Cicero (Oak Park), Illinois. Clarence and
Grace Hemingway, Ernest s parents, raised him and his five siblings in the suburbs and spent time at
their cottage in northern Michigan. This is where Ernest learned his love of the outdoors. His father
taught him to row a boat, start a fire, clean and cook a fish, make a wild onion sandwich and handle a
gun (Reef, 2009). In high school Hemingway began to write for his school newspaper Trapeze and
Tabula. After graduating he became a journalist for the Kansas City Star. Working as a journalist
helped form his distinctively strip down writing style (biography.com). He wrote in short declarative
sentences and used vigorous english. In 1918, Hemingway went Italy during the first world war and
served the red cross as an ambulance driver for the Italian army. He served in the red cross for thirty
four days until he was wounded on July 8, while delivering cigarettes, chocolate, and postcards to
Italian soldiers (infobase) by a trench mortar shell. He was sent to a hospital in Milan and had 227
shell fragments removed from his leg. In the hospital Hemingway met nurse Agnes von Kurowsky
who he quickly fell in love with. The relationship was short lived and its devastating end provided
inspiration for one his most famous works, A Farewell to Arms. After Italy, Hemingway moved to
Toronto and became a journalist for the Toronto Star. While working for the star he traveled to

She has a dark brown hair color, brown eyes, round face, and is short. My Kristen has so many
personality traits I don t think I could name them all. She s kind, loyal, smart, outgoing, determined, and
very beautiful. But my mother s heart is just like gold. I was probably around five or six years old but
I remember this day as if it was yesterday. Kristen was taking me to soccer practice and we were
headed down the road. All of a sudden Kristen noticed a kid had crashed on his bike really bad over by
the side of the road. Without thinking Kristen pulled to the side of the road to help this boy. We got out
and she helped him, we had a first aid kit and she started to clean his wounds. I was just staring at
Kristen in awe. Kristen who had no idea or had never met this boy was helping him in the act of
kindness. She let the boy borrow her phone to call his mom and she showed up about fifteen minutes
later rushing to her sons side, thanking Kristen over and over again. After we knew everything was
okay we got back into the car and headed to practice. When we got to my practiced I didn t even care

Cultural Conformity and Race Essay
For centuries, racism has become the universal epitome of culture, despite the efforts of various
civilizations, such as the Western and European to combat these indifferences among people. A race is
specific social group that can be differentiated through various ways, from facial features and hair
textures, to social norms and habits that constitutes to that group. These differences contribute to our
uniqueness and humanity. Because people can be grouped by any number of differences, Man, lead by
his ignorance, perpetuated the issue once social hierarchies began to develop, splitting society to its
various groups. As a result, social disparity from one s upbringing became the common tendency to

Lacking financial assistance and exposed to the early onset of abuse by his father, Bragg realized that
there was a strict line, which drew improvised rural White Southerners and their counterparts as
unequal. The conception eventually influenced the phrase White Trash, a derogative term that
described the poor whites living in the United States with a degraded standard way of living. This
attack on moral failings eventually became a part of Bragg. Later in his memoir, Rick provides his
account where a wealthy fraternity at Jacksonville State throws a celebration for the children of poor
families. Initially, Rick extends his gratitude for their kindness but he has trouble relating with the
fraternity. Rick describes them as affluent people not rich by Manhattan standards, but Possum trot
ones, because poverty was what he was accustomed to (Bragg 97). He finds himself embarrassed and
bitter at the ignorance of the careless individuals who live with their backs turned to society. The
significance of this is that Bragg wished to capture of essence of the degree of meanness, degrees of
hatred, and of ignorance, that plagued the world (Bragg 62). Just like him, thousands of citizens in
United State experience prejudice and social disparity at least once in their lifetime. What makes it
more upsetting is the dehumanization and ridicule involved due to one s current condition. To an
extent, society has

The Articles of Confederation was the formal charter of the government of the United States that was
the first binding document outlining its independence from Great Britain. As tensions grew between
the United States and Great Britain, a war was inevitable with the people of America growing tired of
the British rule and wanting independence, the Revolutionary War was the next step in trying to free
itself from British tyranny. The Articles of Confederation was fully ratified in 1781 after the
Revolutionary War and seemed to be more interested in stability rather than liberty. The Articles of
Confederation was the first document outlining a national government that wrote into law the

Cause And Effect Of Climate Change
Climate change is one of the biggest news headlines of today. While there are skeptics that believe that
global warming is just a hoax, there are many undeniable phenomenons happening around the world.
The effects of climate change, in the long run, will be catastrophic if it is left alone. In just the past
two months, there have been four hurricanes that made landfall in North America, and a wildfire more
aggressive than has ever been seen before, ripping through California, killing forty people and
leveling almost six thousand structures. Millions of Americans are displaced due to these unusually
aggressive storms and the fires raging throughout California. Arctic species have seen massive
reductions in their populations, with less food to eat, and less mates to breed with. The toxicity of the
air in urban cities and contamination of waters outside these cities is on the rise. If the world keeps
dismissing the importance of climate change, there will be calamitous consequences for the future
generations. The effects of climate change, if not fixed, will be Arctic ice melting, reduction in animal
populations, habitats threatened, and the air toxicity and seasonal allergies to humans. The causes
include the greenhouse effect and air pollution. In the past decade, Americans have seen global
warming in the headlines constantly. About 71 percent of American scientists say that global warming
is happening now (Saad). According to Linda Saad, Forty five percent of Americans

The Leadership Of A Successful Team
Administration sets the tone and time for collaboration. It is imperative for school to have educators
and staff to work in collaborative teams. The common goal is student achievement. Through respect
and partnership the fulfillment can be endless. This year I was invited to be the Positive Behavioral
Support Internal Coach for my K 8 school. I accepted and quickly learned that collaboration and
organization are key components to a successful team. At first, the focus should be members of the
team or group. Asking for volunteer is a great way to get started. People are more apt to commit and
put the effort into the cause when they want to be there; however, administration may appoint or
suggest people because of their insight to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I am in favor of a democratic way for decisions making; therefore I would expect cooperation in any
resolution. During the course of one of my PBS meetings, a goal was determining the requirements for
students to attend a PBS celebration. In a prior meeting each of the members had a 1 2 minutes to
express their concerns about PBS being just for behavior, failing grades may not be a behavior in
elementary grades, but may be in middle school. The task for each member was to discuss it with their
grade levels and come back ready to vote. At the next meeting we voted on three choices, only office
discipline referrals, office discipline referrals and failing grades of only middle school students, office
discipline referrals and failing grades for the K 8th grade. The vote came to 7 to 1 that students could
not have office discipline referral and could not fail (59.4% or below) a core class. During a staff
meeting for PBS implementation and data review, other staff members didn t not agree with the
requirements, but through the PBS team we had democratic evidence that it was a collaborative effort
of the team. Other teams, committees and task forces work should work in the same manner. There are
grade level teams that should be discussing standards that can be crossed within curriculum.
Department teams should be vertically planning to account for deficiencies within the standard
progression. For example, in a PLC we discussed writing across the

Mozart K331 Analysis Essay example
Analysis of W. A. Mozart s Piano Sonata in A Major, K. 331: First Movement Classical composer
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born to Leopold and Anna Maria Mozart in 1756 in Salzburg, Austria
(then the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation). Mozart showed promise in music from an early
age, prompting his father to assume the role as his instructor. His father described his son as a gift
from God, and Leopold nurtured Wolfgang s talents as such. Mozart would eventually travel
throughout Europe with his musical family; however, it was in Salzburg that he would compose three
piano sonatas in 1783. These pieces were most likely composed for Mozart s pupils in Vienna, who
were a significant source of income for him at the time. This paper ... Show more content on

Fig. 1: First Movement, mm. 1 18. The tender melody Mozart presents in these first 18 bars is simple,
with a lot of stepwise motion and small leaps. Adhering to classical style, he uses chords built on
diatonic pitches and resolves dissonances quickly. Pairing a simple homophonic melody with simple
accompaniment makes it easier to manipulate the theme in the coming variations. In Fig. 1, you ll
notice that the middle voice barely moves at all. In fact, it isn t until measure 9 that we start seeing
strong beats without an E in them. Also, the long short (quarter eighth/dotted eighth sixteenth) motive
remains constant until it too develops at measure 9. All of these techniques for a simple theme help
Mozart develop his idea later. In the first variation, Mozart agitates the theme with the use of
chromatic approaches and chromatic passing tones. Between the left and right hands, we hear an
unrelenting series of sixteenth notes. Mozart also incorporates more use of dynamics than he did in the
theme, by composing contrasting piano and forte sections. This drastic dynamic change happens in the
A section of the variation. In variation II, another insistent figure is introduced: this time, triplet
sixteenth notes. The melody in the right hand starts out very ornamented. Mozart then puts each
melody note at the start of a flowing downward triplet arpeggio. The left hand emphasizes the strong
beat throughout these triplets, and then the melody returns in the original

Serotonin Syndrome Case Study
Serotonin Syndrome is the resulting symptom of excess serotonin in the central nervous system or the
peripheral nervous system (Gillman 1999). The condition may occur as a result from the misuse of
therapeutic drugs, consuming a combination of drugs or the overdose of a particular drug. This
abnormal level of serotonin leads to a range of symptoms including confusion, agitation, pupil
dilation, head aches, change in blood pressure and temperature, nausea, diarrhea, increased heart rate,
tremor, loss of muscle control (spasms) and heavy sweating (Fink 2007). It was seen in Joe s case that
he experienced a high body temperature, increased heart rate, dilated pupils, muscle spasms and
disorientation after consuming illicit drugs. Based on his ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Once a patient is at critical condition a state of sedation or neuromuscular paralysis is used to control
agitation as well as restoring the changes in blood pressure, heart rate and body temperature.
Symptithomimetic drugs such as norepinephrine and phenylephrine are used to treat patients who
experience autonomic instability (Gillman 2010). Furthermore, the use of short acting nitroprusside or
esmolol can be used to combat tachycardia and hypertension.
It is important to take the cause of serotonin toxicity into consideration when determining the
appropriate treatment. The enzyme monoamine oxidase is able to catabolize serotonin when in the
presence of oxygen, thus oxygenation will aid in transporting the excess serotonin if the rise in body
temperature or metabolic acidosis is prevented (Gillman 2010). Oxygen, however, will not assist in
the dispatch of serotonin if monoamine oxidase inhibitors are the cause of serotonin syndrome (Frank
2008). Hydration is therefore key to provide oxygen in this situation until the enzyme is

Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome ( Ards )
According to the American Lung Association, Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is a
rapidly progressive disease occurring in critically ill patients. ARDS is an extreme manifestation of a
lung injury that can be associated with an acute medical problem. This occurs as a result of direct or
indirect trauma to the lungs. With nearly 200,000 cases in the United States each year, ARDS is not
extremely common ( Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome ). Most people who acquire this disease
are critically ill patients within the hospital. The most common predisposing medical problems of
ARDS consist of: shock, trauma, pulmonary infections, sepsis, aspiration, and cardiopulmonary
bypass (Ignatavicious, 2013). ARDS is a severe syndrome and even with prompt and aggressive
medical treatment, almost fifty percent of those diagnosed do not survive. Those who survive have a
longer hospital stay along with recurring hospital admissions throughout their lifetime ( Acute
Respiratory Distress Syndrome ). Acute respiratory distress syndrome is a rapidly progressive disease
which requires thorough assessment, rapid diagnosis, and emergency treatment measures in order to
successfully respond to the disease process.
ARDS is acute respiratory failure with persistent hypoxemia, decreased pulmonary compliance,
dyspnea, noncardiac associated pulmonary edema, and dense pulmonary infiltrates on the chest x ray.

Contemporary culture, however, plays a different role. As current contemporary movies, music, visual arts and other entertainment forms produced by Vietnamese resolve around the Vietnamese national cultural identity , which almost always incorporates Chinese elements or Chinese influence in some ways: in its language, practiced customs, art motifs, etc., as addressed. Vietnam s contemporary culture, in this condition, has the same low probability of dividing between the Chinese elements and quintessentially Vietnamese . However, in reality, the concept of Vietnamese contemporary culture does not only include productions by Vietnamese people. As the Vietnamese community reacts and corresponds to foreign cultural productions as engagingly as they do with Vietnamese produced goods, this country s contemporary culture encompasses these alien productions. In this context, culture is more easily categorizable. Additionally, making the first step in protesting with contemporary culture is a logical movement. Unlike other goods exchangeable economically, which can be manipulated to present as if from a different origin, Chinese contemporary cultural productions take significantly distinct forms. In reality, necessary force is the amount of force required to control a given situation so as to preserve the life and maintain the safety of police officers or vulnerable citizens at the scene excessive force is any use of force beyond that required for safety and control (Miller, 2015, par. 2). Is this misconception, lawyers searching out family members, valid reasons, or something else why so many lawsuits are being filed after police deadly force encounters. No one will probably ever know the true reason. I will give two examples of deadly force from the Knoxville Police Department, my agency for the last 19 years, and show that there is no known why so many are filed. When I was a Patrol Sergeant in October of 2006, my officers were in a vehicle pursuit of a carjacking suspect, who had pistol whipped the victim. By policy, we only had two cars involved in the pursuit. About halfway into the pursuit, the suspect swerved and struck an ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 8. Confederate Army Trends One of the major trends that developed during the American Civil war was the number of casualties on both the Confederate and Union side. Although many of the battles were unique, at times the Confederate army would strike a devastating blow such as the first major battle at Mannass or Bull Run where the Confederate Army defeated the Union army who had superior numbers (Hewitt Lawson, 2017). One thing the Union army had that gave them an advantage over the Confederate army was the enlistment of former slaves to join the Union army. After one battle, in particular, General Grant stated I saw an open field . . . so covered with dead that it would have been possible to walk across the clearing, in any direction, stepping only on dead bodies ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Another trend evident in the Civil war was the reason for fighting the war. Both the Confederate and Union army soldiers had their own unique reasons for fighting the war. The Confederate soldiers had a strong martial will to fight and defend the ways of the South (Farmer, 2005). This attitude was strong in the beginning and as the war endured, many had become less enthusiastic about the war effort but remained loyal to the cause and war (Faust, 1990). Some of the Confederate soldiers would actually return home prompted by the women back home who had become disillusioned with the war effort (Spiegel, 1863) and stopped proving support to the war effort. The Confederacy did not lose the war due to lack of effort, it was merely due to the superior strength of the Union army (Farmer, 2005). The Union Soldiers, on the other hand, were fighting to preserve the union. It was not to abolish slavery and in fact became disgruntled after President Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation and the soldiers had to be reprimanded by Union Officers (Landers, 1861 1863). Union Leaders were afraid the strategy of freeing the slaves would hurt the Union soldier s morale, as they were not in favor of fighting a war to help free the African Americans ... What Is The Mood Of The Tower Of Babel The Tower of Babel found in Genesis 11:1 9 tells the story of humanity s movement eastward and settling in the region of Babylon; where at that time, all the people spoke the same language. What unfolds is their quest to build a tower that would extend high into the heavens in order to make their name great and keep them from being scattered all over the earth. Also, the people s ingenuity is highlighted with the process of baking bricks rather than using traditional stone. As they are building, the LORD comes down, and views their effort as a problem; in which he proceeds to confuse their language and scatter them all over the face of the earth. First of which, Gary Schnittjer says, The human race defied God s instruction to multiply and fill the earth because they wanted to make a name for themselves (Schnittjer 1737). God has always been a sending God. He instructed Adam and Eve to fill the earth. He called Abraham to go to the land he would show him so that he could be a blessing to all nations. Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit came on them, and then they would be his witness to the ends of the earth. Yet in the early church, what unfolds is mini Babel building. The disciples stay in Jerusalem, perhaps not to make their name great, but they are not fulfilling God s command to go and bless. Therefore, persecution breaks out. What can be learned from Genesis 11 and the rest of the Bible, is the church today must give attention going and blessing rather than codling and tower building. • 17. Aversive Effects of Ethanol in Adolescent vs. Adult Rats Researchers Nicole L. Schramm Sapyta, Alexandra DiFeliceantonio, and Cynthia M. Kuhn (2010), conducted the study of Aversive Effects of Ethanol in Adolescent vs. Adult Rats , looking to address two key questions: Number one, do reduced aversive effects of ethanol in younger rats correlate with increased ethanol consumption? and second, are the reduced aversive effects in adolescents attributable to reduced sensitivity to ethanol s physiological effects? A sample of adolescent and adult male CD rats (outbred Sprague Dawley derived strain) were obtained from Charles River Laboratories (Raleigh, NC), and maintained in a temperature vivarium standard of 12:12 light dark cycle throughout the experiement. Before the experiment could begin, it was vital to find out which of the 94 rats formed a conditioned taste for ethanol, this was achieved with aversion therapy whereby the rats were deprived of water for 24 hours, and then given 15 minute acccess to a water bottle the

  • 20. Comparison Of Alexander Pushkin And Robert Frost Therese Youso ENG 312: Lyric Poetry Sr. Mary Dominic, O.P. April 28, 2015 Alexander Pushkin and Robert Frost both have written poems about autumn. There is a correlation between these two poems since they share many romantic features. Autumn and After Apple Picking are both alike and different in many ways. Alexander Pushkin was born in Moscow, Russia and lived from 1799 until 1837. He wrote from a very young age, not only writing poetry, but also dramas and novels. He died in a duel when he was 39 years old. Autumn is a poem that contains many of the elements of romanticism. The first quality is feelings. This whole poem oozes the feelings of Pushkin. The first line is October comes at last. The feeling of relief is obvious, and there is a sense of an event finally coming. It is as if his patience was being tested and wearing thin. He could hardly wait for autumn. In the second stanza he writes, This is my time! What is the spring to me? Spring makes me ill: my mind is never free from dizzy dreams, my blood s in constant ferment. He clearly does not like the spring season at all. It is boring and there is a tone of disgust. He compares the fun and excitement of winter. There is definitely a large range between the way he feels about what spring brings and what winter brings. Winter is almost bearable to Pushkin. Winter is fun. He enjoys the activities and cold weather of the winter. In stanza four, he writes, O, summer fair! I would have loved you too, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Analysis Of The Book Jack The Ripper The Complete Jack the Ripper By: Donald Rumblelow Publisher: New York Graphic Society, Year: 1975, Pages: 217 This book is about the history of Jack the Ripper, it s about his life and how he killed. It also talks about his life in the Whitechapel district was. This book is about how he killed and what Jack the Ripper did, it tells about his life and what happened (This book is out dated because we have discovered more since 1975). It also shows lots of pictures, they weren t very good pictures but they were there. The book shows most things he did. He killed at least 5 prostitutes and took apart their bodies. This terrorized the Whitechapel district, he did this from August 7th to September 10th in 1888. It s a mystery on how he died according to the book, but keep in mind the book is outdated. It s a decent book but I didn t find it very interesting, it started out very slow but picked up during the middle of it. I also didn t understand as much as I wanted too. I could understand how people like the book though because of what it is. Jack the Ripper and the mystery behind him makes him interesting just not my thing. Its successful because it was one of the best written books about him of this time, and could be used to study on him. It s also successful because of this reason, a lot of people have probably done a book report or a report in general on him and gained interest for him. Does living with abuse help you gain the strength to become a stronger woman? Also, when does enough become enough? Such a quote is found in Zora Neale Hurston s short story, Sweat . This quote expresses the discussion theme better than any story that has ever been told before about abuse that is endured during a relationship. This quote helped me realize many different things that women tend to go through in a relationship. A lot of times women take abuse, whether it is physical, mental or emotional abuse. Society also tends to put women in a category that is beneath a man, which may give a man the thought of him having power over women, but in actual reality this is called abuse. The definition of abuse is the improper use of something, and that is exactly what is happening to Delia in Sweat . Zora Neale Hurston was considered one of the pre eminent writers of twentieth century African American literature. Hurston was closely associated with the Harlem Renaissance. She has also influenced writers such as Ralph Ellison, Toni Morrison, Gayle Jones, Alice Walker, and Toni Cade Bambara. Clarence and Grace Hemingway, Ernest s parents, raised him and his five siblings in the suburbs and spent time at their cottage in northern Michigan. This is where Ernest learned his love of the outdoors. His father taught him to row a boat, start a fire, clean and cook a fish, make a wild onion sandwich and handle a gun (Reef, 2009). In high school Hemingway began to write for his school newspaper Trapeze and Tabula. After graduating he became a journalist for the Kansas City Star. Working as a journalist helped form his distinctively strip down writing style (biography.com). He wrote in short declarative sentences and used vigorous english. In 1918, Hemingway went Italy during the first world war and served the red cross as an ambulance driver for the Italian army. He served in the red cross for thirty four days until he was wounded on July 8, while delivering cigarettes, chocolate, and postcards to Italian soldiers (infobase) by a trench mortar shell. He was sent to a hospital in Milan and had 227 shell fragments removed from his leg. In the hospital Hemingway met nurse Agnes von Kurowsky who he quickly fell in love with. The relationship was short lived and its devastating end provided inspiration for one his most famous works, A Farewell to Arms. Lacking financial assistance and exposed to the early onset of abuse by his father, Bragg realized that there was a strict line, which drew improvised rural White Southerners and their counterparts as unequal. The conception eventually influenced the phrase White Trash, a derogative term that described the poor whites living in the United States with a degraded standard way of living. This attack on moral failings eventually became a part of Bragg. Later in his memoir, Rick provides his account where a wealthy fraternity at Jacksonville State throws a celebration for the children of poor families. Initially, Rick extends his gratitude for their kindness but he has trouble relating with the fraternity. Rick describes them as affluent people not rich by Manhattan standards, but Possum trot ones, because poverty was what he was accustomed to (Bragg 97). He finds himself embarrassed and bitter at the ignorance of the careless individuals who live with their backs turned to society. The significance of this is that Bragg wished to capture of essence of the degree of meanness, degrees of hatred, and of ignorance, that plagued the world (Bragg 62). While there are skeptics that believe that global warming is just a hoax, there are many undeniable phenomenons happening around the world. The effects of climate change, in the long run, will be catastrophic if it is left alone. In just the past two months, there have been four hurricanes that made landfall in North America, and a wildfire more aggressive than has ever been seen before, ripping through California, killing forty people and leveling almost six thousand structures. Millions of Americans are displaced due to these unusually aggressive storms and the fires raging throughout California. Arctic species have seen massive reductions in their populations, with less food to eat, and less mates to breed with. The toxicity of the air in urban cities and contamination of waters outside these cities is on the rise. If the world keeps dismissing the importance of climate change, there will be calamitous consequences for the future generations. The effects of climate change, if not fixed, will be Arctic ice melting, reduction in animal populations, habitats threatened, and the air toxicity and seasonal allergies to humans. The causes include the greenhouse effect and air pollution. In the past decade, Americans have seen global warming in the headlines constantly. Mozart s Piano Sonata in A Major, K. 331: First Movement Classical composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born to Leopold and Anna Maria Mozart in 1756 in Salzburg, Austria (then the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation). Mozart showed promise in music from an early age, prompting his father to assume the role as his instructor. His father described his son as a gift from God, and Leopold nurtured Wolfgang s talents as such. Mozart would eventually travel throughout Europe with his musical family; however, it was in Salzburg that he would compose three piano sonatas in 1783. Fig. 1: First Movement, mm. 1 18. The tender melody Mozart presents in these first 18 bars is simple, with a lot of stepwise motion and small leaps. Adhering to classical style, he uses chords built on diatonic pitches and resolves dissonances quickly. Pairing a simple homophonic melody with simple accompaniment makes it easier to manipulate the theme in the coming variations. In Fig. 1, you ll notice that the middle voice barely moves at all. In fact, it isn t until measure 9 that we start seeing strong beats without an E in them. Also, the long short (quarter eighth/dotted eighth sixteenth) motive remains constant until it too develops at measure 9. All of these techniques for a simple theme help Mozart develop his idea later. In the first variation, Mozart agitates the theme with the use of chromatic approaches and chromatic passing tones. Between the left and right hands, we hear an unrelenting series of sixteenth notes. Mozart also incorporates more use of dynamics than he did in the theme, by composing contrasting piano and forte sections. This drastic dynamic change happens in the A section of the variation. In variation II, another insistent figure is introduced: this time, triplet sixteenth notes. The melody in the right hand starts out very ornamented. Mozart then puts each melody note at the start of a flowing downward triplet arpeggio. The left hand emphasizes the strong beat throughout these triplets, and then the melody returns in the original ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
