Possible contingencies
Students have not been exposed to the English language before this year so the teacher will
scaffold students by miming, pointing out to pictures and repeating as many times as needed.
Procedures
5 minutes
I will greet students: “Good morning to everybody! How are you today?” Once students have
answered, I will proceed to sanitize the students’ desks and their hands as stablished in the school
protocol.
5 minutes
I will explain TO students that during this lesson we are going to have a test in which they will have
to put into practice everything they have learnt: “Well, kids, today we are having a test, as you already
know. Remember that it is vital to work on your own. You cannot speak with your mates. In case you
have a doubt, just call me and don’t cheat!”
Transition comment: Don’t be nervous, you are going to do it great!

I will hand in the copies with the test and I will explain to them what they need to do in each exercise:

corrected and will know their mark: “Well, now that everybody has finished I can tell you that you will
