Objectives :
• To enable the students to understand English spoken at normal
conversational speed.
• To enable the students to Speak correct and simple English
• To enable the students read English with Comprehension
• To make the Pupils acquire the knowledge towards English
language
• To develop interest among the pupils knowledge towards to
English language
• To enable the Pupils write simple and correct English. 3
Specifications :
• The Pupil listen and understand what is taught in the
classroom.
• The Pupil speak simple and correct English
• The Pupil recall the important points and elements of
language.
• The Pupil acquire the knowledge of elements of
language such as Sounds,Words,Spellings,Phrases,
Sentences and their structuring.

Content
The Headmaster entered the class with a slightly
flushed face and a hard ominous look in his eyes.
Swaminathan wished that he had been anywhere but there
at that moment. The Headmaster surveyed the class for a
few minutes and asked, ‘Are you not ashamed of coming
and sitting there after what you did yesterday? ’ Just as a
special honor to them, he readout the names of a dozen
students or so that had attended the class. After that he
readout the names of those that had kept away, and asked
them to stand on their benches. He felt that punishment
was not enough and asked them to stand on their desks.
Swaminathan was among them and felt humiliated at that
eminence . 5

Good evening to all the people present here today.
it's a pleasure to start this occasion by welcoming everybody.
I welcome our Headmaster to preside over the function. Now
I would like to invite the honorable chief guest our M.L.A to come
onto the dais. I welcome My teachers, my fellow – friends and
schoolmates. Today we all have gathered here for the Annual Day
celebration. I welcome you all and I hope you enjoy the program.
Now I request our headmaster to start the function.

called Swaminathan suffered from the punishment given
by his headmaster and finally what he decided from the
lesson “SWAMI IS EXPELLED FROM SCHOOL”

Objectives : • To enable the students to understand English spoken at normal conversational speed. • To enable the students to Speak correct and simple English • To enable the students read English with Comprehension • To make the Pupils acquire the knowledge towards English language • To develop interest among the pupils knowledge towards to English language • To enable the Pupils write simple and correct English. 3

Specifications : • The Pupil listen and understand what is taught in the classroom. • The Pupil speak simple and correct English • The Pupil recall the important points and elements of language. • The Pupil acquire the knowledge of elements of language such as Sounds,Words,Spellings,Phrases, Sentences and their structuring. 4
  • 5. Content The Headmaster entered the class with a slightly flushed face and a hard ominous look in his eyes. Swaminathan wished that he had been anywhere but there at that moment.
