ABSTRACT
In that report I will discuss a subject called Marcet Boiler, which is one of
the topics in the thermodynamic lab that discusses the creation of steam
through this device to determine the pressure of the steam at a certain
temperature, which causes the heater to heat the water and then heat the
water. You stick to the thermo caple and this manometer is the

INTRODUCTION
The marcet boiler is the part for the demonstration of the basic principle
in Thermodynamics studies which is the boiling phenomenon. Firstly, the
discovery of this phenomenon is founded by( Rudolf Clausius), a German
physicist that was a thermodynamics power icon .Marcet boiler is also a
device that is used for the understanding of the basic possessions of
saturated steam to superheated steam. It consists of cylinders surrounded
with isolated substance in its electrically heated boiler which is used to
heat up water and to measure both the temperature and pressure. Marcet
boiler also contains thermometer, barometer and safety valve. The

The unit is prepared of stainless steel pressure vessel fitted with high
pressure immersion electrical heater. The unit also comes together with a
safety relief valve, temperature and pressure measuring devices. Water
feed port is installed to let water charging. It is also installed with
temperature and pressure transducers so that students are able to read the
respective values in the digital indicators easily. The water heater is
protected from the burnout by setting the maximum operating
temperature with temperature controller.

METHODS
Marcet Boiler is used to consider the relationship between the pressure
and temperature of saturated steam in equilibrium with water at all
temperature levels between the atmospheric pressure and bars. The
measured value of the slope of the graph dT/dP obtained from the
experiment results can be compared to the theoretic value determined
through calculation from the steam table:

When the phase transition of a substance is between a gas phase and a
condensed phase (liquid or solid), and occurs at temperature much lower
than the critical temperature of that substance, the specific volume of the
gas phase ,𝑣𝑔 greatly exceeds that of the condensed phase 𝑣𝑐 .

CONCLUSION
in my report I first briefly mentioned the marcet boiler, then I defined it
in a long way, put a picture of the device, explained all the parts of this
device, and then talked about the rules that are used and important in that
