Maggi is an international brand of instant foods including soups, stocks, seasonings and noodles owned by Nestlé since 1947. It was founded in Switzerland in 1872 and is known for products like Maggi noodles, seasoning sauce and bouillon cubes. Through history, Maggi aimed to improve nutrition for workers' families and was a pioneer in ready-made soups, merging with Nestlé in 1947 and becoming popular worldwide for its dry soups, seasonings and instant noodles. However, Maggi noodles have faced some controversy over their healthiness.
