The study investigates the diversity of macrobenthic communities in the Meghna and Bakkhali river estuaries of Bangladesh, assessing their relationship to environmental conditions. It found that macrobenthic abundance and species richness were influenced by water salinity, with the Bakkhali river showing higher densities than the Meghna river. The research highlights the role of these communities in assessing coastal water pollution and the need for further studies in Bangladesh's coastal ecosystems.
