Alatskivi Secondary School has been involved in several international education projects since 2009. They began by hosting visitors from other countries to discuss their experiences. Students then formed a documentary film club and participated in international events. The school has hosted guests to teach about other cultures like South Africa, Ghana, and Afghanistan. Students have participated in exhibitions, presentations, and special event weeks about topics like fair trade. They also stay engaged through online projects, Skype calls, and charitable collections to support their partner twin school in Afghanistan.
