LysosomeAlison, Kai, Mohamad
What we can do for you!First of all, lysosomes consume worn-out structures within the cell and attack foreign bacteria before it has a chance to penetrate the cells. We keep you other organelles safe, so you need us. Us lysosomes are found in almost all animal-like eukaryotic cells. We have enzymes hold the enzymes that the cell creates. Not only can we do that, but we can digest thingsA eukaryotic cell is basically your typical cell.
What happens if you don’t have enough of usThere are many LSD’s (Lysosomal Storage Disease). It is a genetic or inherited problem. You can get lysosomal storage disease if you don’t have enough of us lysosomes. In some LDS’s, waste products build up in the lysosomes of cells, which leads to disruption of cell function. Some types of LSD that affects cells in bone marrow and internal organs. If you don’t have us, you develop unusual facial features.
Structures with LysosomesLysosomes have hydrolases, lipids, phospholipids, sulfate, and phosphate groups from molecules inside them.It also has a plasma membrane, a lipid bilayer, a hydrolytic enzyme mixture and transport proteins.
AllianceIf we had to choose someone to have an alliance with, we would have an alliance with vacuoles. The food vacuole is formed when food is ingested, and then it works with us since we contain the enzymes the cell uses to digest the food into small enough particles for the cell.
Who we would vote outWe would vote out the Cytoskeleton. All a cytoskeleton really does is provide structure to the cell. It also moves materials in and out of the cell, but besides these things, it doesn’t really do much.
