impacting over 1600 personnel. Responsible for unit operations and training management. Senior Operations
Officer for Joint Task Force 5, a National Guard Domestic Operations Task Force.
Specific Duties:
Establish organizational objectives, develop priorities, assign and complete work individually and as part
of a team; communicate verbally and in writing with team members on program and operational issues.
Monitor and manage operational budgets; collect programmatic and operational data, generate
management reports and conduct briefings for personnel and senior management.
Advise personnel and management on brigade status, goals-attainment progress, challenges and
emerging needs; develop annual operations and training guidance written products.
Organize spending data and formulate budget documents, making decisions on priorities; justify
expenditures and spending forecasts to management, internal and external parties.
Evaluate personnel and provide them with corrective recommendations and guidance as needed;
recommend personnel actions as appropriate, including discipline when needed.

Job Description: Senior Logistics officer for New York Army National Guard Brigade impacting over 1600
personnel. Administrated over $200M in property and equipment; managed the operational logistical work of
soldiers from 14 separate units.
Specific Duties:
Provided commander advice and guidance on logistics issues as the Chief Logistical Advisor,
recommended improvements in operations to achieve efficiencies in spending, inventory logistics,
property management and productivity.
Scheduled and performed inspections on equipment, property, workflow processes and adherence to
standard operating procedures; tracked deadlines and reallocated priorities to adhere to all assigned

interested parties, relating to them the benefits of service as a commissioned officer in the Army.

Created administrative workflow processes and served as the technical advisor for recruiting processes,
marketing plan development and relationship building at universities, coordinating seminars and events.
Interviewed and screened candidates for eligibility and qualifications, provided information on military
programs; coordinated the processes by which candidates pursued becoming a commissioned officer.
