This document discusses a learning activity where students photographed local currency and products that could be purchased with that currency. Students were asked to take photos of coins/bills and 3-5 locally sold products, provide information about the currency and products, and have their work uploaded to an online project. The project aimed to help students understand the value of money and locally grown/sold goods. The rest of the document provides examples of New Zealand currency and local products from Kawerau, along with the prices of those products. It concludes with next steps, which include creating play money and an educational board game about their town.
