Brandhome returned to the Miami Ad School to assist the students with one of the most challenging briefings of the entire quarter.
The students were asked to brand and campaign Wharton Business School’s latest book, Beyond Advertising. The book serves as the basis for the new Wharton Future of Advertising Program. Once again we reminded the students that there is nothing as important as a solid strategic foundation for channelling their big future of advertising ideas. The students tackled the briefing with our guidance – involvement is what it’s all about – and came up with some strong creative output.

Technology around us is changing at rapid strides and the thing which are once changing the lives of people are now becoming obsolete. Among these, mobile phones have seen a tremendous evolution over the years.
1) The document analyzes the results of a questionnaire about music video preferences. It was shared on Facebook to gather responses but did not target a specific demographic.
2) Most respondents were female, between 16-20 years old, unemployed, white, and prefer pop music. This provided guidance around targeting age and ethnicity in the music video.
3) Respondents preferred videos set in cities with vibrant colors, high key lighting, and incorporating wide shots and medium close-ups of the artist. They also preferred a narrative approach over solely focusing on the artist singing.

Critical thinking can help creatively solve problems. A problem is defined as a doubtful or difficult matter requiring a solution. There is an organized approach to problem solving which includes determining the problem, alternatives, advantages and disadvantages of alternatives, selecting a solution, and evaluating how well the solution is working. This involves being clear on the specific problem, brainstorming alternatives, gathering information, selecting the most effective alternative, implementing a sequence of steps, and reviewing outcomes to improve future problem solving.
What do we know about software testing in the real world? It seems we know from Fred Brooks’ seminal work “The Mythical Man-Month” that 50% of project effort is spent on testing. However, due to the enormous advances in software engineering in the past 40 years, the question stands: Is this observation still true? In fact, was it ever true? The vision for our research is to settle the discussion about Brooks’ estimation once and for all: How much do developers test? Does developers’ estimation on how much they test match reality? How frequently do they execute their tests, and is there a relationship between test runtime and execution frequency? What are the typical reactions to failing tests? Do developers solve actual defects in the production code, or do they merely relax their test assertions? Emerging results from 40 software engineering students show that students overestimate their testing time threefold, and 50% of them test as little as 4% of their time, or less.

Clirik featured product mineral powder grinding mill with ceisoAmmy Cheng
1. The document describes a mineral powder grinding mill that can grind materials into powder between 150-3000 mesh sizes.
2. It has high efficiency and energy savings compared to other mills. It also has a long lifecycle and is safe and reliable to use.
3. The mill can grind materials into a fine powder between 325-2500 mesh and achieve over 97% fineness of 5 microns or less.
The document provides an analysis of a media product created by the author. It discusses how the product both adheres to and challenges conventions of thriller movies. It conforms to conventions like using guns, dark clothes, and fast-paced music. However, it challenges conventions by casting younger actors than typical for thriller movies. The document also discusses how the product represents teenagers in London through language, clothing, and behavior. It would be distributed by a major British company familiar with the thriller genre, like Paramount or Warner Bros UK, and target audiences over 13 interested in thrillers.
The document discusses several album covers and their design elements. It analyzes how the visual design reflects the tone and message of the music, as well as the artist's public image. Key elements like fonts, colors, symbols, and poses are examined. The simplicity or complexity of the covers relates to whether the artist wants the music to speak for itself or promote a distinctive brand. Overall, the document demonstrates how album covers work to represent the artist and intrigue audiences through subtle visual cues.
